Question:
Eaz-Lift 1200 lb. hitch adjustment screw I am using the above hitch on my 2005 Ford Expedition 5.4L. How do I use the adjustment screw on my hitch to maintain the angle of the head?

Expert Reply:
We do not carry the Eaz-Lift systems but I do know exactly what you are talking about. The bolts that hold the head to the shank would have to be loose and the adjustment screw turned in the desired direction. Tilting the ball towards the trailer puts less tension on the spring bars. Tilting it towards the tow vehicle puts more pressure on the spring bars.
It can also be used to fine tune the ride height to help get everything level.
