How to Measure to Get a Replacement Trailer Hub Grease Seal

Question:

Have you ever seen or heard of a seal with that number 8752 on it? By what Ive read on your site It looks like #168233 is the replacement but wanted your opinion before I ordered. Thanks

The number 8752 that you referenced doesn't match up with any seal numbers that we carry, but there is a way to determine what replacement seal you would need.

You will want to measure where the seal rides on your axle spindle with a dial or digital caliper to get an exact measurement and then you will want to measure the bore of the hub so that you know the inner and outer dimensions for a replacement seal. Check out the picture I attached for more info.

Once you get those dimensions check out the link I attached, select the dimensions you need from the filters and the correct seal will be listed.
