Question:

Hi. I just purchased a 2015 Honda fit EX with manual transmission. We want to tow it behind our motorhome. I was wondering what if any is the difference between the EZ4 and the EZ5 brackets? Also, is one easier to install then the other? We have not purchased a tow bar yet either. From what Im reading they will work with only roadmaster tow bars correct?

Yes, you can flat tow your 2015 Honda Fit EX with manual transmission behind a motorhome.

There is slight differences between the Roadmaster EZ4 # RM-521569-4 and EZ5 # RM-521569-5. The main difference is the EZ4 is more universal and will have more fit options. Both will feature Twistlock series brackets that are virtually invisible.

Since you will be flat towing your 2015 Honda Fit EX manual transmission, you will need the following items: a tow bar, safety cables, wiring and a supplemental braking system.

The most popular Honda Fit tow bar is the Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520. I like it because of the Autowlok locking mechanism and quick disconnects. It only takes on person to mount and remove.
I recommend a release tool like # RM-066 because it aids in unlocking binded arms. The Falcon 2 has a capacity of 6,000 pounds.

Safety cables are a key part of the flat towing setup. They will offer extra security and peace of mind for your tow system. I recommend the Roadmaster straight safety cables # RM-645 because of it's galvanized steel construction which provides superior strength. The length is 64 inches.

Next you will need tow lights. The Roadmaster Standard tow lights # RM-2120 are easy to mount because you will bypass your 2015 Honda Fit's vehicle wiring. These are also magnetic mount so it's very easy to mount on your car. Since fuses must be pulled during installation and to prevent your battery from draining, a fuse bypass like # RM76511 will replace your mini-fuse and allow you to prep for towing by flipping a switch.
