Is There A Replacement for a Bargman Door Latch 10-30-051

Question:

I have a trailer that didnt come with the keys to a compartment that Id like to replace. I have tried many times to find a replacement, but the dimensions of 51/2 long and 51/4 wide doesnt seem to exist anymore. Really want to have security on that area again.

I took a look at the Bargman Door Latch 10-30-051 that you referenced and it is indeed oversized. The best option we have to replace this would be the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit part # 295-000019 which can install in an opening up to 3" wide x 4" tall. Therefore, you would need to find a way to fill in the extra space around the latch in order to make this work for you but frankly we just don't have any other options.
