Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt 5th Wheel Install kit you referred to, part # C16448-104 is compatible with a 2005 Ford F250 Long Bed. The Curt Install Kit uses industry standard bed rails, which are compatible with Reese, Curt, Husky and Valley fifth wheel hitches, among others.
The rails provided by the install kit would indeed be compatible with your Valley 16K hitch, as long as the hitch uses the above-bed rails. To see the installation instructions, click the provided link.
If your truck doesn't already have the 7-way trailer connector installed in the truck bed, you can install one using part # C56000. I've linked you to an install video showing the wiring harness being installed on a 2014 Ford F250. The install on your 2005 model would be almost identical.
