Im looking at building an offroad trailer.. Starting potentially with these: ASR2KHDS02 Is this reasonable? Can I get hubs that would work? or do I need to get hubs and spacer/adaptors? How much?

For building an offroad trailer the part # ASR2KHDS02 would be an excellent place to start. The only other kit I would have you consider would be the # ASR35HDS02. This is setup for off-road tires, has a 3,500 lb capacity, will give the trailer a 4 inch lift, and will give you 8 inches of clearance from the hub face to the trailer frame for tire clearance. These systems are great for off-road use because they don't have an axle so the ground clearance is great.
For a hub with a matching bolt pattern you would want the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. Whether or not you will need spacers for the hubs will be dependent on whether or not 8 inches from the hub face to the frame would be enough clearance to fit your wheel/tires. Lay your wheel/tires on the ground face down. Take a straight edge like a board and lay it on top of the tire. Measure from the hub face to the straight edge, if that distance is less than 8 inches you wouldn't need an spacer for the wheel to clear the frame.
