The box is strong and of good quality. It looks like it will last. We just received it so I cannot comment on the ease of installation.
Easy to install and looks great
Exactly what I needed. Very well constructed, though it is a bit expensive. I would buy this product again. Using this product on a boat. Large enough for Victron battery chargers when using with 12v Battle Born batteries. The locking mechanism is not Fort Knox, but good enough to deter casual thief.
Very well constructed and definitely like being able to secure my batteries on the tongue of the trailer. I had to alter the method of securing my Battleborn Lithium batteries in the box. I would appreciate more height to the box so I could mount bus bars and shunts within the box.
This is a secure system to insure your investment in batteries remain in place. Forklift Power Armor Locking Battery Box gives me assurance while I'm away fishing or exploring. It also has a finish that compliments the RV. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Perfect for my two battery upgrade. Made in USA. Great job you hard working Americans that built mine. I did modify a little so that I could tuck the trailers plug inside the box to help protect it when not in use. I cut the bar/tab out of the top rear slot so the thick cable would fit with the lid closed and locked. Not complaining about the box, just a mod I made to fit my needs.
It is the right size for my lithium batteries. Plus I can lock the cover.
Great quality build box. I've been in need of a narrow battery box to fit my trailer. I have a trailer that has a very narrow space between the propane and tailer itself. It fits two of my lithium batteries well, but that's it. It's important to know, there's just enough room for two batteries and some wiring. There isn't very much room other than that. Still, the build quality is good and very easy to install. It's vented well and has access holes in the back that are large enough to accommodate almost any wiring setup.
Overall I would recommend due to the quality build, form factor, and ease of installation.
The box came in with everything totally as advertised. Mounting instructions on the front of our trailer were easy And accurate. We’ve driven it everywhere and lots of trips long and short, and it’s riding solid and sound right where we should installed it. Our two battle born 100 amp lithium batteries have stayed completely dry and safe from theft. The torque lift battery box is bulletproof. I highly recommend it.
Great battery box. Fits two Group 31 batteries. I use it to house two Relion RB100 LiFePO4 batteries for a 12v 200AH setup. Straight forward to use and install. Very durable, I'd be more worried about it getting ripped off the trailer than someone getting into it. A little heavier than I thought it would be at about 30#. Still not too bad considering battery box plus two lithium batteries ends up being only about 15# heavier overall than the one AGM battery it replaced.
Very solid box! Measure thrice on ordering. It fit very snugly exactly where I wanted it. The lock was easy to replace with a RV lock tumbler in order to match the rest of my locks.
Really the only cons would be very limited instructions on how they expect the battery mounting brackets to be used. There is a lot of hardware and it turned into a game of fitting it all together to secure the batteries. Two Battle Born 100ah batteries fit very well in this box. There was also room to spare for the Victron Shunt. There is a big lithium placard stickered to the box. I found it easiest to remove with some dental floss. Sliding it into the foam adhesive to cut the bond. I didn't want to advertise the expensive batteries in the box. The finish on the box is very nice and was not damaged at all from the removal.
This box is still going strong and worth every penny.
The build is great. Using 2 ea group 27 battle born batteries with heaters. Looke like the batteries will fit and have an extra 1/2” all the way around for addittional insulation. Not installed yet but looks like a graeat fit. Only wishing it had a secondary locking mechanism like a bolt lock.

Still great! The project is complete with a pair of lithium batteries wintegrated heaters. I appreciate the solid mounting of the batteries and with a little extra room for some insulation. I added a battery shunt as well. The box does not seal super tight, so a dirt road will equal dirty batteries. The lock still works nice, and I added an external switch for the battery heaters. Plenty of room to use heavy cables. I am thankful the lid slides off because it can be mounted in tight confines.
Best purchase for my lithium batteries on my travel trailer. Definitely recommend makes me feel safe being locked up from thieves and the weather. Although the prices have gone up a bit its worth your piece of mind.Box has help up well with weather .

Well its been a year and box has been holding up well with weather no signs of rust. Definitely has helped keep my batteries safe. Definitely still recommended. Torklift products seem to be great quality. Looking to purchase there rv steps in the future .

The box is beefy and secure. The installation instructions are clear and the overall experience has been very good. I highly recommend this product.
The box is built well, solid, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I like some of the details like the built in SAE port cut-out, and a crazy amount of hardware for mounting options. It fits into a small space where many other boxes will not fit well. This is a great option, albeit expensive, for dual batteries on a small trailer.

Two lithium 12 v fit with room to spare, lock and lid, as well as the battery tie downs are well thought out and was exactly what I was looking for. The box is everything I expected but the lock is very cheesy.
I found the Torklift battery box to be well built and as described on the website, there were NO surprises. The original battery holder on my trailer tongue wasn't wide enough for two group 27 batteries, so I bought this box to accommodate them. I was able to install the new box on the tongue of the trailer and I didn't need the supplied extension brackets for the widest part. As you will see in the photos, the area was tight, but the box fit perfectly. I installed two group 27 batteries, and they were a perfect fit. I like the battery tie-down brackets because they are easy to install and remove. In the photo, the propane cover is touching the box, but the cover wasn't secured yet, and when it is, there is 1 1/2" between the box and cover. The only modification was trimming the length on one of the long tie-down bolts so the lid would completely close and lock properly. If you are looking to lock up your batteries or gain more space, this is an excellent product.
Well made. Not too heavy. Good purchase and etrailer is the bomb.

This box is excellent. It would not fit on the trailer tongue on my GD 315RLTS, but found another place to mount. Very solid product.
Great product, fast shipping. Having some difficulty installing due to size and frame rails, still checking mounting options.
Quick shipping. Box seems to be rugged and of good quality. Should be the right size to mount on our 2023 Coleman 1400bh travel trailer. We like the feature of the locking top for security of the batteries.
I love these Torklift battery boxes. Very solid construction, I have no worry standing on them.
My only complaint is that while the box itself can fit two of the newer and smaller-sized 260-300AH LiFePO4 batteries, it's not possible to do so because of two angle-iron reinforcements joining the bottom and sides. Grinding these off doesn't impact the integrity of the case at all and allowed the pair of batteries to fit.

This product is awesome. It has stood up to the typical wear in tear of traveling down the highway over bumpy roads. It still looks new.
