Published 01/18/2020 >
Question:
I was looking at the Torklift PowerArmor Lithium Battery Box and noted the fairly prominent labeling. Can that labeling be removed easily or it it powder coated on? Because the last thing I want to do is try to conceal a pair of thousand dollar Lithium deep cycle batteries in a box that says LITHIUM...

Torklift uses both stickers and thin aluminum plates with a sticker affixed to it. Either is fairly easily removed. The plates are a little harder to remove. I've had good luck removing that kind of thing by applying low heat from a heat gun or blow dryer to the label to soften the adhesive then using a piece of fishing line. Wrap both ends of a length of line around your index fingers and work the line under an edge of the plate. Use a back and forth sawing motion, and the line will work through the adhesive and pop the plate off.
