Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Roadmaster 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin and clip for 2 inch or 2 1/2 inch hitches. Now this hitch pin is designed to secure your ball mount or other hitch mounted accessories in your trailer hitch receiver. As we mentioned, this is a 5/8 inch diameter pin that'll fit 2 1/2 inch hitches. Has a 4 inch usable length, which is measured from this hole to where the bends, so it's giving you four inches of usable length. Now this can also be used in a smaller two inch hitch, but there will be more play between the hitch and the clip, so it could cause a little more rattle.
The hole in the end of the pin allows for easy installation and removal of the retaining clip. And say you just push it on there to secure it, pull it out to remove it. These parts are corrosion resistant, zinc plated finish. Again, we mentioned the application is two inch by two inch hitches, or 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receivers. Pin diameter, again 5/8 of an inch and the usable length.
I'll show you where that's measured. We'll put the clip in there and you'll be able to see. It's gonna measure from where the clip is to where the bend starts. So that's the amount of usable length you're gonna have. And you can see right at four inches.

Hey there Luther, my apologies for the confusion. The bottom hole you are seeing is actually a little etrailer sticker. If you look closely it is a little "e" not a hole in the picture, we have to do this so other companies do not try to steal or use our images.
