Question:
Hi, Im considering product AM3298 or C45900. I see AM3298 has V5 and SAE J684 certifications. Would this be considered a better hitch than the Curt ? Also AM3298 looks to be American made. Is the Curt also made in America ? Finally, does the Anderson hitch have a anti-rattle feature ? Is this needed on the Anderson ? Thanks

Both of the adjustable ball mounts you asked about are well made and meet all of the requirements for towing.
The Andersen, part # AM3298 has an 8-inch rise or drop versus the Curt, part # C45900 that has a 5-1/4 inch rise or 6-inch drop. Both of the ball mounts have the same weight capacity. The # AM3298 is made in the US. The Curt # C45900 is made overseas.
The Curt does feature anti-rattle but the Andersen does not have that feature. The hitch pin and clip are included with the Curt hitch but it is not included with the Andersen. For that you can use part # RM-910034.
