8,600-lb Capacity. These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your vehicle. They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use.

Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall when loaded. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride when loaded or towing because the rubber has more travel.
I bought Timbrens to install on my 2015 Silverado 2500HD truck, which I use to haul our 5th wheel. I had a set of airbags on my old GMC and they worked well, however, they were a concern when it came to maintenance. I saw a review and recommendation for Timbrens and thought they were a great alternative to having airbags installed. I read the instructions and can see no problems with installing them myself - thereby not only saving in the cost over the airbags, but also not having to pay anyone to install the Timbrens. Everything I have read about them makes me feel very good. I don't see the truck lowering with the 5th wheel attached, but having the Timbrens installed will take away any worries with rough roads.
Awesome product! On my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi 6.6' Box, I am running WITHOUT the provided 1" additional spacer. The provided me about 1-1/2 to 2" of stock suspension ride before the Timbrens kicked in. Once they engage under load, no complaints. Stabilized the loaded ride tremendously! Thank you etrailer.com & Noah!
They help the truck not bottom out but don't change the ride when unloaded. Couldn't ask for more.
They work very well giving just the right amount of support with a load and not affecting the ride without a load.
These made towing stability much better. Makes it a little more harsh when fully unloaded, but worth it for the loaded stability.
Works as listed keeps vehicle from sagging when camper is loaded. Easy to install
James was great to work with and he answered all my questions. This is a good product and it does what it is supposed to do.
works great helps keep the truck level after loading. still great ride when not loaded
These were just what I needed to make my 2000 Tundra able to safely carry a pop top camper and carry loads without sagging.
It has been over a year since installing them and they have been doing great. Made a big difference in towing.
I initially ordered the wrong part, # TTORTUN4L. after realizing that I needed part, "TORTUN4" I gave them a call and the change was made before shipping, and with no problems. Very professional staff and easy to deal with. The product arrived in a timely manner and as advertised. It took me about 15 minutes to install (without removing the tires). I just crawled under my 2007 Toyota Tacoma pre runner, removed only one U-Bolt , slid one end of the Timbren under the other U-Bolt and placed the U-Bolt I removed back in place over the other side of the timbren and tightened. Repeated on other side. Due to having a fiberglass camper top on the bed and custom built storage inside of the bed the timbrens just barely hit the top bracket. therefore, the ride changed slightly, but not as bad as I thought. The springs do help significantly with body roll when making sharp turns. Overall I am extremely pleased with them. Haven't had a chance to tow with them yet, but can tell by the stiffness that there will be no problem with sagging.
Thanks for the great product a helpful staff.

very, very rough ride. Took them off and threw them in the garbage. Used Sumo Springs instead, a vastly superior product.
Easy to order, very easy to put on and they definitely help camper and my dump trailer.
GREAT PRODUCT!!
Tow a trailer and 1700 lb kubota tractor without issues.better then other helper springs
Fit to the factory frame with no drulling just as advertised. Definitely made huge difference in front sway and handling.
Ford F-150 super cab 2wd with 3.5 Eco boost towing up to 10,500lbs. Was good before but absolutely awesome with this added.
Easy to install and helped remove additional bouncing when hauling my 9,000 pound camper with my F150.
These turned out much better than I thought. Easy to install and THEY WORK!
Prevents bottoming out in the springs.
It sure gives our minivan that extra lift when towing our boat. This is a great product and very easy to install.
Great product would recommend and buy again. Instalation was a snap did it in about 2 hours front and rear.
I purchased a used pickup without any jounce bumpers. I ordered these to provide more support rather than going back with stock ones. I pull a 5th wheel and these keep the truck level with less bouncing around and bottoming out when towing. When I'm not towing they sit about an inch or inch and a half about the stops so they do not negatively impact the ride quality. They work as advertised and I'm pleased with them.
Love - work great as long as you install and have at least a 1 1/2 inches clearance - I used one 1/2 inch Timbren spacer
