The fairing worked great for eliminating wind noise from the inno square bars. Just barely fit on my 2020 Yukon xl. It could be improved to make the install a little faster.

by:

(All items where brought from etrailer) I always wanted a great, affordable, and quality bike/roof rack finally after years of searching. My car is a 2011 Hyundai Elantra fitment and instrustions are simple and easy. Wind deflector cuts the wind noise by 40%. My number 1 source will be etrailer 5

by:

This seems like a good product, but the instructions were poor, written in garbled English that was probably a poor translation from their original language. It was a disappointment to learn that we cannot use the sunroof with this product, as two of the feet rest on it or its gasket.

Still working fine after a year. Its quite easy to take off and put on. I did not put the fairing back on this summer because it interfered with the sunroof, but the rack didnt make much noise even without it.

by:

Very well made and also works great with moon roof, but need an assistant to install, delivery is on time, highly recommended product and online store, looking forward to my next purchase,

by:

Great product, and looks great.

by:

Absolutely Love it, and it looks great too...

by:

Fit perfectly. Had no issues on install and looked awesome. Ive used it for a year and no complaints.

by:

It fit perfectly on my Inno square cross bar for my Kia Rio. I tested it out driving 70 on the highway into a 25 mph wind and the bars stayed completely silent. Couldn't have asked for more so far.

by:

Easy to install. Haven't driving at highway speeds yet to see if wind noise is reduced.

by:

Products ordered arrived two days sooner than expected! Really appreciate speedy shipping. Installation was straight forward. Quality of products seems pretty good so far.

by:

The shipping was super fast! And they were the only site to have all pieces I needed and at the best price. Will definitely shop with etrailer again

by:

Although it took a long time for the part to come in, they kept me informed along the way with personal emails and answered all my questions. I love these guys!

by:

I’ve driven with it for over 1000km and get approximately zero wind noise.

by:

Good product, the 48" fits the full width of the factory bars on a 2017 Mazda 3. Reduced wind noise in a noticeable way.

by:

Thank you fit perfectly no complain

  • What Roof Rack Fairing Fits on Thule Wingbar Evo Crossbars
While we have a fairing solution that fits the Thule Wingbars the Thule fairings do not fit since the bar dimensions are slightly different. Instead you'd want one of these fairings as they fit most styles of crossbars. So for a 40 inch fairing we have part # INA261, 44 inch part # RRRF3, 48 inch # INA262, and 31 inch part # INA260. You want to go with a fairing that best fits the distance between the feet of the rack you have for best wind noise reduction!

  • Availability of Replacement Screw for Mounting Bracket on Inno Fairing
Hi Victor; are you referring to the knob marked with an arrow in the picture below? You can reach out to Inno and might have some luck with them sending just the knob. If they don't have that available you will have to replace the entire bracket assembly. We don't have them listed on our site but I can add it if you tell me if you need the left, right, or center.

  • Solution to Quiet Down Wind Noise of Malone 50 inch Crossbar Roof Rack
The best solution would be to divert the air over the bars with a fairing like the Inno 48 inch long fairing part # INA262. This will direct the air over the bars and ski rack to make it much quieter. Roof racks and their accessories can cause quite a bit of wind noise and the best way to fight it is with a fairing to direct the air over it.

  • How to Pick Out Roof Rack Fairing to Cut Down on Wind Noise
The best way to pick out a fairing is to measure the distance between the feet of the roof rack and go with a fairing length that best matches that distance. The Inno fairings are designed to fit most crossbar shapes so those will be your best option. For that we have the # INA260 for a 31 inch fairing, part # INA261 for a 40 inch fairing, or # INA262 for a 48 inch long fairing.

  • How to Determine Which Wind Fairing to Get for a 50" Roof Rack
More than likely you are not going to want a 50" long wind fairing. Odds are that the 50" crossbars you got will overhang the feet slightly and you want the wind fairing to fit in between the mounting feet. The best way to determine what wind fairing you will need is to measure the distance between the feet of the roof rack and get the wind fairing that is closest to that measurement. The most likely option would be the Inno Fairing for Roof Racks # INA262 which is 48". There is also the...

  • Will Yakima LoadStops Work With SeaSucker Monkey Bars and Wind Fairing for SeaSucker
The Yakima LoadStop Brackets for Yakima Roof Rack Crossbars # Y05000 are designed to work with the 1-1/8" diameter Yakima round bars like part # Y00408 and the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack - 48" Long # 298-SX6000B are 1-1/4" diameter so they aren't going to be a good fit. Due to the way the brackets attach you may be able to physically get them around the SeaSucker bars but being able to tightly secure them will be an issue. In regards to a wind fairing, there are fairings that will...

  • Recommendation on a Wind Fairing for a VW GTI 15 with OEM Roof Rack
We carry a large selection of wind fairings that could fit your 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI. Your best option would be to measure the width of your OEM crossbars to help find the correct length of fairing that you will need. Once you have your length, review the fairings at the attached link. As for a recommendation on a brand, I like the Inno Fairing for Roof Racks, like # INA262. These fairing use an universal mount to install on to your crossbar. The design of the mount also allows the...

  • Replacement M6 x 50 Carriage Bolts for Inno Fairing INA262
According to the installation instructions, the # INA262 Fairing uses six M6 x 50 carriage bolts to secure the fairing onto the crossbar. While we don't carry those as individual replacements, I do have a solution for you. The # Replacement M6 x 50 Carriage Bolt for Thule Carriers # 915-0650-54 will work as a suitable replacement. Although it's not threaded all the way like the original Inno carriage bolt, it will provide enough of a thread to install the bottom knobs without a problem. I...

  • Fairing Recommendation to Fit Sportrack Roof Rack with 50 inch Fairing
Looks like the 50 inch spoiler fits your roof rack really well so a size close to that would be your best option. With fairings the best way to pick them out is to base it off the distance between the feet of the rack like it looks like your current setup has. Since you have a Sportrack roof rack that does not have fairings made for it the best option is a Inno Fairing part # INA262 which measures 48 inches in length. The Inno fairings are designed to fit most standard crossbar shapes...

  • How to Pick Out Roof Rack Fairing from Yakima
When picking out a fairing for a roof rack the best way to do it is to measure the distance between the feet of the rack and go with the fairing that matches that distance the best. We can't stop you from ordering any size you want though. We have the part # RRRF3 which measures 44 inches long, the part # INA261 which is 40 inches, # INA262 which is 48 and # INA260 which is 31 inches. The great thing about these fairings is that their hardware can fit most crossbar shapes.

  • Inno Fairing Compatibility To Fit With a Roofnest Roof Top Tent
I reached out to Roofnest to get their input but they did not have any information on using a fairing like Inno Fairing # INA261 that you found. I do not see the fairing causing any issues with the mounting of the Roofnest on your Malone square cross bars you have on your 2021 Jeep Cherokee, since the top portion of the clamp is so thin. In checking the sizes I do see that the Roofnest is 48" wide when folded and thought that the 48" Inno Fairing # INA262 may work best for your application.

  • Yakima Timberline Tower Install on 2015 Jeep Cherokee with Raised Rails
You want your raised rails to sit in the middle of your TimberLine Towers # Y33TR as you can see in the attached clip from the instructions. Since this is the location that Yakima says to install it then that's what you'll want to follow. You'll want your fairing to have a small space between it and your roof. The 48" Fairing # INA262 is actually too large for your 2015 Jeep Cherokee with the raised rails so you're going to need the 31" Fairing # INA260 instead. You would use the 48" fairing...

Since Thule and Yakima roof racks are premium options with similar pricing I recommend going with the Inno roof rack for your 2013 Toyota Prius since pricing is a factor for you. Even though Inno is at a lower price point it still has great quality that I know you'll be happy with: 51" and 54" Aero Crossbars - # INXB130-138 Through Feet - # INXS250 Fit Kit - # INK865 48" Fairing - # INA262 The nice thing about the Inno crossbars is that you can definitely upgrade them so that they are...

  • Roof Rack For 2017 Toyota Prius With Bare Roof For Rooftop Cargo Box
Hey there Lisa, and yes, you're on the right track for getting a cargo box atop the roof of your 2017 Toyota Prius. The Inno rack you mentioned does indeed fit your Prius: - Inno Square Crossbars # INB127 - Inno Feet for Square Crossbars # INSUT - Custom Fit Kit # INK486 Since this rack uses square crossbars, the only other thing I really recommend is a wind fairing to dampen the wind noise and give you a peaceful journey. For that use the Inno Fairing # INA262. With that, you're set...

Another option will be the Rhino-Rack Fairing for Roof Racks - 50" Long, # RRRF4. This fairing is 50 inched long and uses universal mounting hardware connects to most crossbar styles.

  • Method to Reduce Wind Noise from Roof Rack on 2014 Mazda 3
Roof rack crossbars do generate noise and some make more noise than others. Round and square bar roof racks tend to be the noisiest and elliptical and aerodynamic bars tend to make less noise. No roof rack will be particularly quiet when you have your sunroof open. That is just the nature of the beast. You can sometimes reduce the noise level of a roof rack by adding a fairing to the front bar, such as Inno's # INA262. These usually help the noisier round and square bar roof racks like...

  • Can an Inno Fairing be Locked to a Roof rack on a 2014 Mazda 3
The Inno fairing # INA262 does not have any built-in locking mechanism, none of the fairings do, but there may be a way to lock it. You could potentially use Rightline cable lock # RL100640 which is designed for luggage. You would likely have to create a hole in the fairing to run the cable through and wrap it around a crossbar. This is pretty much the only way it could be locked. Inno fairing # INA262 is the correct model listed for the 2014 Mazda 3.

  • Can Inno Fairing # INA262 Fit with Cargo Box
The top bracket of the Inno Fairing part # INA262 is pretty thin so if you had a cargo box resting on top of it the angle of the front of it would not be adversely affected. So long story short this would not be an issue for a cargo box.

The fairing I recommend for that system is the Inno Fairing for Roof Racks - 48" Long - Black # INA262 which will help minimize the wind noise by creating a more aerodynamic shape. This will give you the best wind deflection for those 54 inch bars and provide a better driving experience.
