Will Yakima LoadStops Work With SeaSucker Monkey Bars and Wind Fairing for SeaSucker

Question:

Hi. Will this loadstopper work on the SeaSucker Monkey Bars? I know that the Yakima bars are 1-1/8 diameter and the monkey bars are bigger. Im wondering if it will still fit. Thanks. Are there fairings that will work that can go in front of the suction cups as well?

The Yakima LoadStop Brackets for Yakima Roof Rack Crossbars # Y05000 are designed to work with the 1-1/8" diameter Yakima round bars like part # Y00408 and the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack - 48" Long # 298-SX6000B are 1-1/4" diameter so they aren't going to be a good fit. Due to the way the brackets attach you may be able to physically get them around the SeaSucker bars but being able to tightly secure them will be an issue.

In regards to a wind fairing, there are fairings that will work, but not go all the way down to the roof. The reason for that is the SeaSucker bars will be about 6-1/2" above the roof and the vacuum cups that attach to the front bar will be about 6-1/2" in front of the bar. So the Inno Fairing for Roof Racks - 40" Long # INA261 or 48" Long # INA262 (depending on how far apart you have the vacuum cups on your vehicle) will fit, but not fit entirely in front of the vacuum cups.
