Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a quick look at the Dutton-Lainson drill drive socket adapter. This is going to allow you to operate your Dutton-Lainson DLB series winch with an electric drill, rather than having to hand crank it.This will fit into a half-inch electric drill, and then the other end will slip into the square tube hub that is supplied with the replacement handle kit. If you don't already have that square tube hub, you will need to get this kit so that you can get that little square tube hub there. Otherwise this will not work for your winch. But once you have that kit installed, you can just install this onto your drill and use that drill to operate your winch so that you don't have to crank it by hand anymore. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
This worked great. Just make sure the drill you use has the torque to handle the load.
Perfect fit. Great product
Excellent! Fits perfectly in my 1996 Cobra Flagstaff Pop up camper.
This product is a excellent item to have if you're tired of manually cranking your popup camper roof. I rushed to try it out shortly after it arrived and found it preforms as promised. Used it with a DeWalt 20v cordless drill. I plan to purchase another one for backup. Installing a electric winch is probably upwards of $300. Highly recommend it.
I bought this in order to ratchet up my pop up camper. Unfortunately I still have to hand crank it up, however I add this piece to a Shank with a set screw and I can crank down my pop up with a hand drill in seconds!
The perfect tool to save wear and tear on my back. Let that power drill, with this wonderful adapter employed, crank up the roof on my Coachman tent trailer.
My husband and I are both over 65. This bit allows us to raise our pop up camper with a 1/2" drill eliminating the back breaking work of cranking it up. Good quality material makes me believe it will last a long time. Thanks
This was exactly what I was looking for to raise my pop up camper. I received it quickly and put it to use immediately! Great product, great service!
I love this socket adapter. I use it on a drill to raise a Genie Lift material handler instead of the slow hand crank.
Well manufactured drill drive socket. I purchased this for use with my battery powered drill to raise and lower the top on my popup camper and it works like a champ.
