Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the center of your rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Easy to install. Wish there was a defined location to tie off the strain relief for the trailer wire harness. Ended up zip tying to a wire loom and then looped it around the hitch to keep it from dragging.
I just received the hitch and wiring plug have not had time to get it installed. It looks great and will look good on my wife’s suv. We are putting this hitch on her suv to haul our electric bikes we have a bike rack. I will make another post when I get the hitch installed I only gave it four stars because we don’t have it installed.
The trailer hitch is beefy. I think when the vehicle is no more, that hitch will still survive! My son and I installed the hitch in our driveway. Getting the most forward bolts fished into the frame was difficult. Also, the bolts will try and retract up into the frame while you put the nuts on. The bolts can be held from the side with a flat blade screwdriver while nuts are threaded on, stopping them from retracting. In the end, all fit well.
There's a trick to removing the vehicle trailer electrical connector protective cap that's not well covered in the video. The red plastic retainer clip can be released by pushing on the red tab with the v slot that is visible from the cap side using a small flat
blade screwdriver.
Installers in my area wanted $140 - $150 to put the hitch on. This was too much for me, so I did it myself - even though I'm 71 with bad knees. My son's help made it possible.

5 star on quality, 4 star on instructions. I’m pretty good with mechanical things. This was not difficult to install. The access holes provided were like 7/8” but bolt heads are 1-1/16” so needed to enlarge those holes using a 1/2” drill bit. Instructions said to disconnect muffler but I did not and was able to get it in place. Need to remove four screws, two on each side from center, on the bumper cover and pull back to install. Used jack stands to assist. Did not need to trim any of the cover. Fishing lines worked great too; just put a good kink in them to pass easy to the access hole. Did have to trim two bolts projecting from the bumper bracket and then it fit great, all bolts lined up. Adapter for lights was perfect also, bit hard to reach and disconnect cover though. Overall very happy with this product.
The hitch has worked as expected. The big difference in products has always been more in the customer service, than the product quality itself. Your hitch is a perfect example. By providing all the necessary information, instructions, and specialty tools, you make this a top-notch product.
Direct fit for a 2021 Chevy Blazer premiere installed a hitch, and this wiring harness at the same time. I figured since the bumper was off, I would be able to install this quick and easy and it was. Just had to take the dust and weather cover off existing plug that was behind the driver side, bumper and plug this wiring harness right in. As you can see from pictures pretty straightforward install.

Great and fit my GMC Acadia 2023
Installation was super easy. Instead of removing the torx screws to loosen the plastic bumper, I took out one bold that held the driver's side heat shield in and just moved that out of the way to get to the connector.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease of this wiring harness installation. I installed a wiring harness on a Jeep a few months ago. This was literally plug and play.

I have had no issues with this harness. Every time I plug in a trailer it works just like Id expect.
Fit perfectly on my Cadillac XT5 and an easy install .
it installed quickly as advertised, fit as it should, totally satisfied.
Great customer service! Had trouble with shipper but not etrailer!
