Today we're going to take a look at the Thule replacement license plate bracket with the light, for a Thule Terrapin hitch-mounted cargo carrier. This part will replace one license plate bracket and light for the Thule Terrapin hitch-mounted cargo carrier. It installs directly in front of the Terrapin shell using existing hardware, it will hold your license plate in place on the cargo box, and with the light there it will illuminate your license plate for night driving. It does include the number 168 light bulb in there, if you notice it does have too wires coming out the back, basically white it for ground, black is for power to it. Again, the application for this bracket is the Thule Terrapin hitch-mounted cargo carrier, part number TH684. That should do it for the review on the Thule replacement license plate bracket with light for the Thule Terrapin hitch-mounted cargo carrier..
So glad etrailer had this replacement license plate bracket with light for my Thule Cargo Carrier. I got sideswiped in a parking lot and while the carrier survived the scrape, the light fixture did not. A quick swap and I am back in business. Thanks etrailer!

Part fits well but the hardware it comes with is not useable. Screws are far too short to use and the plate holder needs to be mounted with spacers to allow enough clearance for screwing a plate onto it. Without the spacer it is nearly impossible to do.
I recently ordered this product and replacement keys for my Thule racks. I haven't yet, but will be ordering replacement keys for my Yakima racks in the near future. I must say that ordering from this site was extremely easy. It was easy to find what I was looking for and the items were shipped right away. I couldn't have asked for better service. I would definitely recommend them!
Just a basic, plastic licence plate light. Works as advertised with a red and black wire to hook up.

What are the dimensions width apart of the top holes next to the led?
Simple, cheap but very useful little thing and that to help you not to get ticketed while having a hitch carrier that would otherwise hide your license plate. Simply AWESOME

great product dont waste your time with Thule, Come to etrailer....
This item isn’t easy to get I couldn’t even get it from the manufacturer!! Without it I have to buy a whole new one for over $600. Thank you for our supplying me with this part.
