When swapping in Lippert white vents and fans, check the base and mounting pattern first. Some vents use four mounting holes while older caps show five to seven; one replacement has a base with a 4" outer diameter and fits 1-1/2" or 2" vent stacks, and it can be mounted on sloped roofs. Seal with butyl tape and self-leveling sealant; some installs specify 3M 5200 or Sikaflex 221 for inside components.
They are the exact same, just different colors. If you're replacing a siphon vent, plan to seal the base with butyl tape and a self-leveling sealant to help ensure a watertight seal.
