Yes, just group items by size and keep edges aligned so they slide in and out cleanly. Avoid overstuffing the map case, which can stress seams and make closures harder to seal. If there are separate sections, keep quick-access items in the easiest spot to reach.
Start by measuring your map when it's folded the way you plan to use it. Compare those dimensions to the listed interior space of the map case and leave a little room so closures aren't stressed. If you laminate or use heavy paper, account for extra thickness so the seal can close smoothly.
Lay the map flat and smooth out sharp creases before sealing the map case. Wipe dust or moisture from the map and the window to reduce haze. If glare is an issue, rotate the case slightly or reposition under softer light to improve contrast.
