I purchased this hitch for my 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 which has the multiple tailgate. The hitch was in the stow position but still damaged my tailgate when I had the tailgate fully down and used the step feature. it bent the metal and scratched the paint. So please be aware this hitch is not recommended for the 2024 GMC sierra 3500 with multiple tailgate.
About a year ago, I bought a new to me truck that needed a 2.5" hitch. I love this 3 in 1 setup. I really like that it stows and I can always have it back there. I haven't used the 1 7/8" yet, but there are plenty of old trailers out there that would need it at some point. I have used the 2" & 2 5/16" plenty. It's sturdy, looks good, and is super convenient, what's not to like about it.

Looks amazing, came as advertised with quick shipping. Super easy to adjust for different balls and heights. No more swapping out receivers when I go from 2" to 2-5/8 tongues. Would have gotten 5 stars if a hitch pin was included, especailly at this price point. Interested to see how it holds up over time.
It’s been a good hitch so far. I have no complaints. The 2.5 inch Rock Tamer mount just fits on my 2022 Superdutys factory receiver. I was real happy about that.

Looks fantastic! Easy to adjust. Works like it should. I would recommend this product. Only negative would be that I cannot lower my tailgate with this ball mount as it is tighter to the truck than most. I drive a 2018 Ram 3500
A product that turns a pickup into a truck. Darn thing looks so good, I'm not sure I actually want to hook anything up to it. Going to be used to tow travel trailers, horse trailers and a boat. Has the versatility to accommodate all kinds of tongue heights. Due to my 24" receiver height, I had to get the 10" drop to keep things level. I had initially ordered the 6" drop, and when I realized my short sightedness, the customer service team was excellent in helping me return it for the right product. I'll always go to etrailer first for my truck toy needs.

Went with the B&W due to the length of the shaft going into the receiver. My 2024 Ram's receiver is recessed under the bumper. This hitch is long enough to accept my Towtector product. Similar to Rock Tamers. Also, Brittany in customer service was awesome to work with as she guided me towards the product that worked for my application.
I love being able to switch ball sizes so easy. Still looks good after a year. 2016 F250 2.5 inch lift. Sometimes the hitch scrapes is the only con I have.

First of all, ETRAILER is a great company in my opinion. Their selection, prices and customer service are all great. This hitch is stout! I'm the type that I'd rather have more capability than what I may actually use. For what I will use this for, I'm 100% sure it will be way more than I'll ever need but I'm also confident that I would not have any issues using it regularly at it's maximum capability. The construction of it is top notch and I'd be willing to bet it can do more than what it's rated for. I will definitely be ordering the 20K Pintle that works with this as well as a Curt 5th Wheel and Gooseneck. Thank you ETRAILER and thank you CURT for amazing service and and amazing product.

Channel Style Adjustable Ballmount - 2" & 2-5/16" Balls - 14,000 lbs
This hitch has worked out great for me over the last year. It’s very heavy duty and easy to adjust. I’ve hauled a 9,000 lb boat, long-distance on numerous occasions without issue. I also haul a landscape trailer on a daily basis weighing over 5,000lbs and haven’t had a single issue. Great hitch that was significantly cheaper than others and is very high quality. I’ve recommended it to several people and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. The only thing I would like to have now in a hitch is a tongue weight gauge, but it isn’t necessary.
This is a great hitch. Highly recommend this hitch. This is my second curt hitch, first one was on my ford f450 but unfortunately that one wouldn’t fit on my new truck, do to shank size.

Great hitch at a great price. Shipping was fast. Ordered online and it was a breeze. The picture of the hitch showed it had a sleeve but when it came there was no sleeve. Which was nice fits great in my 21/2 receiver.
I use this everyday, and I love it. It still looks like new, the key locks and slides still work like they did when they were new. I would 100% buy another one.

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches - 4-3/4" Rise, 6" Drop - 18,000 lbs
These hitches are the best! And I scanned the world over to find only hitches that are made in USA like I do every product I buy. This is a very ingenious design that allows some shock absorption that greatly quiets any trailering. I bought two full hitches one for each ball size so that I would never have to change ball again! Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. Bought to pull my boat with my Yukon and needed a drop hitch to level out the trailer. I wanted to buy a quality hitch, and let me tell you the B&W does not disappoint. Well engineered. It’s it heavy but when installed it is pretty easy to adjust height and ball size. Also supporting an American company is a plus!
Great hitch. I bought the 3 ball with 8" drop hitch. My utility trailer needs it almost all the way down. My boat trailer needs it almost all the way up on my Chevy 2500HD. The only time I have removed it was to install a Pintle hitch one day to haul a trailer for a tractor. Tip: Use silicone spray on the adjustable pins. Use of lithium grease fouls them up so it's difficult to remove and reinstall them (collects dirt, dust). Also lubricate your hitch lock monthly, or you won't be able to open it if you ever want to remove the hitch.

I have a 2015 Ford F-250 with the factory 2.5" receiver hitch. This drop ball mount fits into the factory receiver well, contrary to the product warning. It is also extremely beefy, you will not be disappointed! Photo fitment proof!
Very Strong ball mount. My wive (its her truck), towed 7000# of horse, tack and trailer last saturday. I know this ball mount is overkill but it is easier than using a 2" with the receiver adapter. Also this way if we have to tow something real heavy we already have the ball mount for it.

Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches - 7-3/4" Drop - 10-1/2" Long - 13,000 lbs
Perfect to haul my utility trailer and what I like most is I can lower my tailgate and it won’t hit the trailer jack.
I was using a reducer before, but those can be a pain to line up and don't work with all Ball Mounts (due to depth and the support weld underneath. This works great and gives me peace of mind.

WOW. That is pretty much the word that sums it up. WOW. Not only because it weighs roughly 60 pounds, but she is pretty to look at to boot. Aside from that - the construction on this thing in a monster. Overbuilt by Hercules to pull down a mountain kind of over built. Exactly how we expect anything truck related to be. You do not want failure at any point, ever. This takes your drop hitch to a whole new level. I have owned B&W and Bulletproof before - and while there is nothing wrong with them - I do not think I will ever use another brand again. This is as good as they come.

Using this hitch on my Expedition and LandCruiser. A standard hitch caused my 12 ft utility trailer to not ride level when towed behind either truck. Since my trucks have different ride heights, the B&W hitch allows me to get the perfect drop for each truck. Trailer responds much better to road issues level as opposed to angled behind the truck. Additionally, its rating exceeds both of the trucks’ towing capabilities, so I have the hitch I need for the future as I have plans for a heavier trailer down the road. Quality and fitment of the hitch is excellent.
hitch worked well for my small utility trailer behind my new full size truck. Only possible down side is the ball I'm not using does sit somewhat low and could in certain circumstances hit a kerb or other bump. Haven't had that issue and think it's unlikely, but it is possible. Note I need the ball mounted on the lowest seting, 7" drop to work with this trailer on this truck

This extreme rise ball mount is what I need to make my passenger car into a back-up trailer puller. It is well built and has a welded strut to reinforce the long rise/drop ball mount. Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 10 Inch Drop Review - 2014 Ram 2500
Today on our 2014 Ram 2500, we are going to be taking a look at the convert a ball cushion ball mount. It's a designed with a 10 inch drop or an eight and three quarters inch rise, part number on it is AMSC10. We've got a two and a half inch hitch here on our Ram now. We've got a reducer bushing that we are going to put in. This is going to convert our two and a half inch into the two inch that we need for our ball mount. We'll take our bushing, slide it here under the ball mount and then we are going to slide them both into our receiver tube hitch or the receiver tube over hitch rather. As we do it, we want to be sure we line up our pinholes.

With the adapter already inserted into the hitch, we have about a 24 inch hitch height. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the mounting bar in the drop position into our adapter sleeve. We'll line up the two pin holes and then continue to slide the sleeve back into the hitch. We'll then insert the pin through all three of the pin holes and secure the clip on the other side. With the mounting bar in this position, I'll give you two quick measurements.

Before we begin our test fit we'll need to get the hitch height of our pickup. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. With our reducer sleeve already installed we have about a 24 inch hitch height. We'll now go ahead and begin our test fit in the rise position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into our reducer sleeve. We'll line up the pin holes and then continue to slide the sleeve back into the hitch.

Before I begin our test fit, we'll need to get the hitch out of our pickup. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube.

With our reducer sleeve already installed, we have about 24 inch hitch height. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the sleeve; we'll line up the pinholes and then continue to slide the sleeve back into the hitch. We'll then secure it with the pin and clip. With the ball mount as low as it can go in the drop position, we'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, getting the measurement of about 14 inches.
Draw-Tite Ball Mount Review - 2014 Ram 2500
Today on our 2014 Ram 2500, we will be test fitting the Draw Tite Ball mount, with a 3/4" riser, 2" drop, rated at 7500 pounds, part number 2923. Now our vehicle is equipped with a 2-1/2" hitch, so we will be using the Blue Ox hitch reducer sleeve for a 2-1/2" to a 2" hitch. Before we begin our test fit, we will need to get the hitch height of our pickup truck. With the adapter already inserted into the hitch, we have about a 24" hitch height. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to the tire size, hitch style, or after-market accessories. We will now begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into our adapter sleeve. We will line up the 2 pin holes and then continue to slide the sleeve back into the hitch. We will then insert the pin into the 3 pin holes and secure it with a clip in the side.

Because our vehicle is equipped with a 2" hitch, we're going to be using the Blue Ox hitch-reducer sleeve, from a 2 1/2" hitch to a 2" hitch, part number Bx88187. Before we begin our test fit, we'll need to get the hitch height of our pick-up truck. With the adapter already inserted into the hitch, we have about a 24" hitch height. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after-market accessories. We'll now go ahead and slide the ball mount into the opening of our adapter, lining up the two pin holes. We'll then slide the adapter back into the hitch and secure it with the pin and clip. With the ball mount in the drop position as you can see here, we'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, getting a measurement of about 20".
Convert-A-Ball 6-Way Multi-Hitch Ball Mount Review - 2014 Ram 2500
Today on our 2014 RAM 2500, we'll be test fitting the convert-a-ball cushioned six-way multi-hitch ball for 2-inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds, part number CAV-6W. Our vehicle is equipped with a 2-1/2 inch hitch so we'll be using the blue ox hitch reducer sleeve from a 2-1/2 inch to a 2-inch hitch, part number VX88187. With the reducer sleeve already installed, we'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. We'll do so with the facing up. We'll need to line up the pinhole and the adapter sleeve and then slide the sleeve further back into the hitch. Once all the pinholes are lined up, we'll then insert a pin, secure with the clip in the other side. With the ball mount in this position, the 2-5/16 inch ball is on the top. You can rotate the ball mount to the left or to the right to access the 2-inch ball or the 1-7/8 inch ball.
