24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Works as described. Fits my Hyundai Santa Fe perfectly. Adds the extra room needed to get my family of four to the beach. I put my coolers and totes and beach chairs on it and cinch them down with ratchet straps. Works well for me.
Fits our Hyundai Santa Fe perfectly. We have used it for extra storage for camping and for our beach trips and have no complaints. My husband can get it on and off the car by himself.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Lost my truck recently and needed a way to take in recycling without stinking-up the SUV. Cargo carrier assembled easy and worked great on the first trash run. Flipped-up perfectly for the follow-on shopping trip.
A very substantial item. Well designed and constructed. If anything, it is heavy and a bit cumbersome to install in receiver. One other note is that the hitch pin barely clears the receiver hole and clip does not fit easily. I had to buy another longer Curt hitch pin to accommodate the short length. Surprising that the hitch and cargo carrier are both made by Curt but the pin is a bit too short.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Great product. Easy to assemble. Built well. I have a 2017 sante fe long base. Elevation is good. Distance from bumper is good. Recommend anti rattle hitch lock.
Absolutely perfect for my Santa fe. Next to no sway or sound coming from this carrier going down. This is a big plus for me as in always listening to the car for issues.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.
Installation went smoothly. Took about 2 hours. Fits our 2019 MDX perfectly.
Works well but after a year the basket is starting to show surface rust. We’re in New England on the coast so perhaps salt are is an issue in the long term.

20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
It was a little lighter duty than I had imagined but I have no doubt that it will hold up to 500# as advertised. I look forward to taking it on my first road trip.
Great product. Easy to assemble. Built well. I have a 2017 sante fe long base. Elevation is good. Distance from bumper is good. Recommend anti rattle hitch lock.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
Greetings, I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.
It was a breeze to install on my 2018 Ford Explorer. Two reasons why I bought this. #1 the price for the size of the rack #2 The ability to adjust the universal mounting brackets from front to back or length wise. I had tried another brand rack but the mounting brackets were from side to side and did not line up with my fixed cross bars. I used silicone to seal all the connection points. I have not seen any rust as of yet. I like it so much that I might sell this one locally and upgrade to next size up.I've had compliments on the appearance also. with the plus up sized tires and the rack. It has given the Explorer a sportier look. I definitely would recommend this rack to anyone.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Product was easy to assemble and well made. It took about a half hour and was pretty simple and straightforward. It fit on my vehicle (2010 Hyundai Santa Fe) great, both down and folded up. I haven't used it for hauling yet, but I think it will work great.
Works great just used it this past weekend gave us a lot more room in our Santa Fe. One thing that would be nice for future sales would be red reflective tape on the trim.

22x59 Rola Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 600 lbs
Received the Rola Cargo Carrier and couldn’t be happier with it. Very solid construction, has lots of tie down spots, and can add trailer lights if I want to. I’m good with the reflectors for now, but may add the lights later. Definitely recommend this if you need extra room for carrying items. Trailer is first class! Excellent customer service and very helpful people. Free shipping was a minor plus. I would buy again if I didn’t already have one :).
This item arrived less than 12 hours from when I ordered it! Fantastic! The carrier itself is as good as I expected. It’s very sturdy, hi quality construction. And it looks great. One of the reasons that I chose this particular rack was that it would likely fit on my jeep and clear the spare tire. Unfortunately, it did not fit. 2 of the pics I posted show this issue. I have a substantial 37” tire and I was about 2 ½” short of getting the pin in, & that’s after removing the curved chrome bar on that side to allow more room. So, I ordered a hitch extension with a 4” drop and I added a hitch tightener from [auto parts store]. It works perfectly. The other pics show it installed with plenty of clearance. Overall, I’m super pleased with this with this cargo carrier.

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Black
The RocketBox Pro14 cargo box was a great acquisition. It worked perfectly with my factory rooftop rack on my 2004 Toyota 4Runner. It remained firmly in place for a 1,000 mile plus trip to Florida and on our return. I could not be more satisfied as the box handled a fair amount of cargo freeing up space for two passengers and a dog. Will be loading up again this year for another trip to Florida. The box is easy to load and fasten and is most secure when in place.
Worth every penny. Used the cargo box atop my 2004 4Runner with factory carrier racks for two trips to Florida and back to MD. NO issues. All contents remained dry and safe, that’s over 4,000 miles of travel.
I've taken one 1500 mile trip so far with the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 mounted on my RAV4. I found the box to be quiet and not to have much impact on gas mileage. I lost maybe 1 mpg with it mounted to my flush mounted Whisperbars. I drove through some very heavy rain and had a minimal amount of water inside under a thin rubber mat I had placed on the bottom of the box; none on my luggage got wet. This box works great to give me more carrying capacity when traveling with my two crated Dobermans.
Ive taken the cargo box on a couple more trips and its worked great. I really like that it can be opened from both sides. That feature comes in handy when someone parks too close to you on one side. You have the option to unload your gear from the other side.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs

Aluminum Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 44" Long x 39" Wide x 7" Deep - 150 lbs
This is a great product. As described, easy to assemble, light weight. I needed a solution to carry my spare tire for my 2020 Forrest River NOBO 16.2. The NOBO line comes with Rhino tracks to put accessories on them. The camper has the tire mounted on the bumper, but I needed space for a bike rack. I ordered Aero Bars and mounts from etrailer, and this basket as well as the tie down. Worked Great!!!
Still working as designed. No sign of weathering or corrosion. Love it.
Really happy with cargo rack!! Easy to put together and install did it all myself!!

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 74" Long x 48" Wide
Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)
Wow !!!! Excellent service and very fast shipping. I bought the Yakima Megawarrior cargo basket with the Thule Aeroblade roof rack and the Carpod walled folding cargo basket. I love the way these parts fit as well as the cargo carrying capacity. I really can’t say enough about trailer customer service and shipping they really do place value in their customers. Would highly recommend using this company for your part needs !!!

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Ordered Yakima Load Warrior Roof Rack Cargo Carrier and Cargo Net for my 2021 Telluride. Both products received as described. Roof rack instructions were clear and assembly straightforward. Had to slightly adjust recommended spacing between OEM crossbars to accommodate Yakima requirements - 30" vs 33". Thinness of OEM crossbars result in the threaded ends of the bolts that hold on support brackets sitting a little too high, potentially presenting a cargo scratching hazard. All in all, however, very pleased with product.
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.
Great product!! Went through the winter with no hiccups. Recommended.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Amazing shipping time. Good quality and fairly easy to assemble. Even sent the wrenches to put it together. Perfect for transporting those oversize items that don't fit into or are too dirty for the rear area of my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Plenty of clearance between the tail gate and the trailer. Didn't even have to tilt it down to get into the rear of my vehicle when the carrier was loaded. Hauled 60 nine foot long corn stalks several large pumpkins and several mums in my first use. it was excellent. Highly recommend especially at this price.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)
Its been a year since I purchased this and I used it on another vacation, driving through multiple states. Its very sturdy and I continue to be pleased with this purchase. I will say I had some trouble with the hitch bolt again. It was impossible to screw in by hand and using an adjustable wrench is a tedious chore. I didnt have time before leaving on the trip to do what I did the last time wd-40lithium. It would be nice to have a better locking system...something other than a bolt that screws in. Ill have to look for that. All things considered, Im still happy with this rack and I would still recommend it. Im sure Im going to be using this for many more years.

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
Easy assembly, fits perfectly.
I only gave an average rating because the carrier was not easy to assemble without slight modification. The bolt holes for assembly were blocked by the steel mesh. I cut the mesh that covered several of the holes with a rotary disc cutter.

Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box - 11 cu ft - Black AeroSkin
This is a great car-top carrier. It is light and easy to install and move around. The opening and locking mechanisms also work well. I drove 5 hours with it in the rain and no moisture made it inside. eTrailer was also great when ordering. The freight company lost the first one and eTrailer simply sent me a replacement. Great company to work with.
Ordered a cargo box for my car it was delivered exactly when it was supposed to on time and in great condition. Excellent communication. Would definitely recommend.

Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black AeroSkin
I really like this box. I have used it on many trips. There is a slight increase in wind noise while driving. I built my own cross bars for clamping it to the roof. I made them very low so the box fits close to the roof. I am surprised how water tight it is. It is big, I am barely able to get it on and off by myself. The clamps work great for holding the box in place, but they do pop out of their holding spots when they are not clamped down. I think it’s designed that way so they don’t break when storing or handling the box. Would be nice if there were handles on it like a suitcase handle to make it easier for one person to carry it and move it.
It has worked great. Little to no additional wind noise. I drove all day in a rain storm, I expected a lot of water inside the carrier, but found only a tablespoon or so of water. The clamps hold tight.
etrailer stocking and shipping got it to me in about 5 weeks, beat original estimated timeline. Tracking info right on, projected delivery date met. I am mounting the THULE Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box to a full length PRINSCU roof rack on a 2020 Toyota 4Runner. Had to remove 2 of the crossbars to allow for the floor of the box to sit flush onto the rails. Once done, used the THULE quick clamps around the 2"x1" bars and installation completed!

Malone Profile18B Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black
I’m ultra-pleased with my Malone Profile18b cargo box! I scoured the internet researching these things. I think I looked at every large capacity model around 18 cu ft for my Nissan Armada. There’s lots of good ones out there to choose from. I almost bought a Thule Motion XT, but I decided to go with this Malone cargo box because it had the specs I was looking for at a much better price (18 cu ft for under $xx.xx!). After examining it closely, it seems to be fantastic quality, fit and finish it great, and functions perfectly. It opens and locks from both sides—and new for this year, it has an awesome new 1-click dial attach system that installs and removes easily and holds strong. Also, It’s one of the BEST LOOKING rooftop cargo boxes out there. The Italian shape and glossy black finish looks very high-end. For the money, you can’t beat this box. If you’re considering a rooftop cargo box, don’t hesitate on getting this Malone.
After a year later, my Malone cargo box is still working great. Ive very happy with it. Ive gotten good at mounting it myself too. Two people are preferred, but one person is very doable.
Reviewing this after 18 months or so because in that time I have NEVER seen another one of these on the road, despite living in the roof box capital of the world (Denver) and I think it looks better than the majority of boxes I see, save the newer Thules. The price has gone up since I purchased, but I still think it's good value. Great roof box option at a fraction of the price of Thule/Yakima, plus it looks sleek and the shiny finish looks great. I frequently use this for cargo storage / skis and snowboards across 3 different vehicles and bars (Jeep Renegade on Yakima Aerobars, VW Golf on OEM square bars, Subaru Forester on OEM bars) and it's great. Easy to take on and off and always feels secure. I've fit ski's up to 190cm in it carefully at an angle - my buddy's 196cm skis wouldn't fit without bending. I will say that, as with probably any other roof box, you need to be careful of the locks fully engaging and not being blocked. I've had issues getting the box re-opened once locked if something inside is pushed up against one of the 3 lock points.

It's really going to help free up some space on the inside of your Santa Fe. That can be really useful whenever you're going on vacation, taking some long trips, going camping, anything like that. In my opinion, that's going to be just about the perfect size for the Santa Fe. It's going to be big enough that you can fit a lot of your gear in, but it's not going to be so large or so small that it's going to make the back of your Santa Fe look out of place or funny. So this is going to measure 60 inches wide, 22 inches long, and 7 inches deep.

And my favorite thing about this carrier is that it has the ability to fold away whenever we're fully loaded to allow us to completely open up our hatch. That's going to be really convenient if you need to get back here, when you have all your stuff stacked up high.

Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack roof mounted steel cargo basket, part number RMCB. The Rhino Rack roof mounted cargo basket, is a great solution for carrying a wide variety of your luggage, your sporting good equipment, anything you want to keep out of the vehicle, and keep up top.The measurements for this cargo basket are going to be 47-3/16 inches long, by 35-3/8 inches wide, by 5-1/2 inches tall. And there are also plenty of tie down points for your straps, your ratchet straps, to secure your loads while you drive as well. Another nice feature about this cargo basket, is that it comes installed with a faring at the front here. And that's to help deflect the wind, and kind of cut down that wind noise, and drag that you may experience while you drive. There's a lot of cargo baskets on the market that won't come with this, and they actually have this more squared off section at the front, and that will cause more noise while you drive. With it completely open, you can see there's plenty of space in between our cargo basket and our actual hatch.
Thule Roof Basket Review - 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be test fitting the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket, part number TH859XT.The Thule Canyon XT is a great solution for carrying a wide variety of your luggage, your sporting goods equipment, anything you want to keep out from inside the vehicle and make more space. As you can see, we we're able to fit quite a few items up on our cargo basket. It's measurements are 49 inches long by 40 inches wide by 6 inches tall at its highest point. With our hatch open, you can see, there's no issue of clearance between our cargo basket and our rear hatch, as there's plenty of space in between. A lot of that's because of the placement of our existing roof rack system. Now, if you had factory raised side rails, you might have an issue here and there, but you can always adjust those accordingly. With everything loaded up, this does have a carrying capacity of 150 pounds, but you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual and with your roof rack system to ensure that you can carry those weights on this.
