24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
The carrier was exactly what I was expecting. High quality, powder coated, and heavy duty. This will allow me to transport my mower, pressure washer, cooler, and anything that I do not want inside my Jeep. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I've been using this Cargo Carrier on my 4 Runner Venture for about a year now. I Purchased this item to haul extra gear to Nags Head from Northwestern Virginia. Installation was a breeze and it's very, very sturdy. I had two Yeti coolers packed with ice and drinks and there was no wobbling at all. I'm a 197 pounds and I was standing on it after I installed it just to check for durability and this thing is a beast. I also used this as a rod holder while on the beach and I caught a 6 foot black tip shark. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item and I would recommend to a friend.
This is a substantial, well-made product at exactly the size I needed - smaller than many, and with sides that keep items secure. It was very easy to assemble, with all parts included and clearly sorted, and with all pieces manufactured to cleanly align. The item arrived promptly, packed to protect the shipment but without waste. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a high-quality cargo carrier.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
It works, but I only put two electric bikes on it. The mesh seems to bend pretty easy.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
It was very hard to figure out what kind of cargo carrier would be the best for my needs, until I got on your website. Your videos are very informative to help with making the decision of which cargo carrier was best. It was very easy to put together, and very strong (I put my husband in it)this is perfect for our vacation transportation.
Installation: Easy Assembly: Easy Attached to: Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # C13163 Use: Camping equipment. Cooler, Chairs, Sleeping bags, firewood, etc. Like: The fact that it folds is a huge positive. What I would change: perhaps adding a ring or two on the sides to allow for bungee cords or rope. Because the hitch is already a bit low on the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander (stock wheels, tires, suspension) the back part of the basket can bottom out rather easily. It has nothing to do with the carrier itself though. I would definitely recommend this product! I'm going to use it again in a month for our next camping trip.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.
This cargo carrier fits perfectly behind my 2023 CR-V. I use it for hauling bags of grass to the yard waste. It is almost a two person job inserting it into the receiver though. Seems well made and well finished.

20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
This is great cargo basket: solid and secure, easy assembly, well designed. The angled neck keeps the basket well away from the ground; I haven’t had any problems with it bottoming out. My first use was actually on a trip back from Florida following Powered Paragliding training. I was intending to bring back just a Paramotor (which would have stood vertically inside the basket), but ended up bringing back a whole Trike assembly! Mounted it on the basket as shown, and it rode just fine back through four states. Got a lot of looks on the way home! I concur with an earlier reviewer that a neat trick is to use a stabilizer strap from the hitch to the corner of the basket. There is plenty of slop in the receiver when the neck is inserted, and a short ratcheting tie down cancels the rattle effectively. I’m very pleased with this purchase; and while I don’t plan to haul around anything as big as that trike, I look forward to many more years of use from it!
First look - not yet loaded up. Ordered this because the less expensive Curt (C18110) was out of stock. It seems like a worthwhile upgrade anyway, with rounded corners and better tie-down options. Finish seems high quality. Significant play exists in the hitch receiver (Curt C11276 - gap visible in photo) to the point that I ordered a hitch immobilizer and don't plan to test the carrier with a full load until that's installed.

20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Great quality and serves its purpose. I wish I ordered the slightly bigger one to fit the bins and items I use it for. For example, a white standard igloo cooler doesn’t fit the way I need it to maximize loading capacity. I highly recommend a stabilizer to prevent wobble.
Very nice quality. Took one person and two wrench about 15 minutes to install the cargo carrier from box. It is very sturdy and the finish is very good. I really like the added height this specific carrier provides.

Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)

20x48 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
This is a sturdy carrier. Welds all seem good. Paint is just fine. Steel tubing is very strong. The weight is heavy but reasonable for one person to install and remove. I plan to remove it when not in use on our trip to avoid having to fold it up and lose ability to access the hatch on our van. It has a bit of play in both the receiver and on the folding hinge. I’m going to use construction shims taped in place to reduce the wiggle but even without those, it’s not bad. Even with a jumbo cooler, we can still see the plate. This will do the trick for vacation and camping gear without having to haul a massive 60” carrier. Love the size and build.
Product came in a single box in perfect shape. Great construction, easy to put together. I bought this to go on the front of my John Deere Gator 855D. Sometimes, there just isn't enough room to pack everything you need when going down the trail or you don't feel like slinging a Honda generator and a heavy cooler packed full of ice and your favorite beverages up in the back of the bed. This cargo carrier fit the bill perfectly. It took all of 5 minutes to put it together and slide into the front 2" receiver on my gator. With the fold up design, I have 22" of clearance between the ground and the bottom of the carrier when carrier is folded out horizontal. Being the carrier is 48" wide, it is narrower than the gator, so I don't have to worry about trying to squeeze through a tight space in the woods. If the gator will go through the space, so will the carrier rack. When I don't need the carrier, it is a snap to pull the pin, swing the carrier rack 90 degrees up and pop the pin back in. Even when folded into the upright position, you can easily see over the carrier rack. Thanks for making a great product.

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I received the package in a pretty rough exterior condition but everything was fine inside. The previous comments about having to cut away the expanded metal flooring in order to install the carriage bolts wasn't true in my case. Apparently, this quality control issue has been addressed by the manufacturer. Assembly went well and wasn't complicated. A different carriage bolt with a longer square shoulder should be used. The shoulder doesn't grip too well to the square cutout in the frame and even while pressing firmly on the head of the bolt, it wanted to turn as I was tightening the nut. All in all, it seems to be a solid product and I look forward to using it.
I wish the load capacity was a bit higher, but overall I am satisfied with the cargo carrier. It is perfect for lugging my two dog crates behind my vehicle instead of inside the vehicle. Thank you for offering a dimensionally larger cargo carrier than most retailers.

19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
This cargo carrier worked great. Used it to move a rototiller, 2 hour trip. No damage or deformation to the carrier despite the tiller being near the top of the weight limit. The hitch bolt held the carrier firmly in place. It doesn't come with the lights, I installed light kit Item # 52014. Just had to drill four small holes (I knew this light kit wasn't specifically designed for this carrier, just wanted something cheap). Works great on a Town Car, lots of ground clearance. I'm very happy with this product.
This cargo carrier is sturdy and works well on a Mazdaspeed 3. The rise and slight angle make it so clearance is not an issue. The carrier is very easy to put together. I did install the 8 bolts through the connecting plates in reverse of the instructions so cargo would not be scratched or torn. It adds so much cargo space for our growing family. The only drawbacks are a lack of license plate frame and reflectors which are easily added with very little cost. I used a Cruiser license mount plate with zip ties and Reese DOT approved reflectors. I don't plan to use the carrier at night but there are many license plate lights that can be added as well. I also purchased the Rola carrier bag for hauling luggage and other indoor items.
Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Honda CR-V
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Reese Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and we're gonna see how it fits in the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Whether you're looking to carry extra stuff with you or just get some messy stuff from the inside of your CR-V out, a cargo carrier is a great way to do that, especially one that's hitch mounted because one, they're generally a bit bigger and easier to reach, but two, generally better weight capacities than something putting on the roof. And this option from Reese is gonna be a pretty basic one. So I think this is gonna be ideal for the person that's not using their cargo carrier all the time. It's more of a special occasion-type thing, whether you're going out of town to visit some family and just need to carry some extra stuff with you.
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Honda CR-V
Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer hitch-mounted cargo carrier and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now whether you're running short on space on the inside of your CR-V and you're taking a road trip and you need somewhere to put everyone's luggage or camp supplies, or maybe you're just going to the hardware store, picking up bags of mulch, concrete, soil, things that tend to rip and make a mess inside the vehicle, in my opinion, are better kept outside because this is a lot easier to clean off than vacuuming out the carpet inside the cargo area. Regardless of what the reason is, a cargo carrier is a great way to just expand the space that your vehicle has. And I like the hitch-mounted carriers because, one, you're gonna get better weight capacity, and two, they're easier to reach than something on the roof. Now the weight capacity here is gonna be 500 pounds evenly distributed throughout the carrier.
Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier Installation - 2024 Honda CR-V
Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods compact cargo carrier, and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now, in general, cargo carriers are a great way to expand the cargo space of your vehicle. If your CR-V doesn't have enough room inside, you can always add to it on the hitch, or let's say you've got messy stuff that you never wanna bring inside the vehicle to begin with. Think like trips to the hardware store, bags of mulch, concrete, things that tend to rip and make a mess. It's a lot easier to keep it out here, and by attaching to the hitch, it's gonna be easier to reach, and generally give you much better weight capacities than something like a rooftop carrier. Now with this one being their compact carrier, it's important to mention that if you need more space, you can always go with a larger carrier.
Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier Installation - 2024 Honda CR-V FHG27ZR
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Basket, and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now, a hitch-mounted cargo carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you in your CR-V expanding on your cargo space or just keeping messy stuff out of the vehicle. It's a lot easier to clean this off with a hose than it is to vacuum out the carpet on the inside. And this option in particular being aluminum is gonna be very lightweight and easy to handle. So getting this down from maybe a wall hook in your garage to the hitch of your vehicle is gonna be really easy compared to the larger, bulkier, heavier steel cargo carriers.
Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2023 Honda CR-V
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Compact Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. Cargo carriers are a great way to carry extra stuff with you on your trips or maybe to the hardware store or maybe just have a great way to get some stuff out from the inside of your vehicle and move it outside because things like bags of concrete mulch, dirt, things that have a tendency to rip and make a mess inside our vehicle can be a hassle. Getting it out here, that mess is gonna maybe fall through some of the gaps or just be easier to clean up by hosing off the carrier when you get home. Much less of a headache than vacuuming out the inside of your vehicle.

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Honda CR-V. Cargo carriers are a great way to carry extra stuff with you or maybe just carry some things that you don't wanna carry inside your vehicle by moving it to the outside. The example I always bring up is things like bags of mulch, dirt, concrete, anything for a small around the house project that tends to make a mess inside your vehicle. It's great to keep out here because that mess is gonna fall through the slats in the carrier and anything that doesn't can easily be hose off.

Hi, everyone! Aiden here at Etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. A hitch-mounted cargo carrier is a great way to get some extra stuff with you on your trip or to maybe get some stuff that you wouldn't wanna keep inside the vehicle, outside the vehicle. One of the things I bring up a lot with these is things like bags of mulch, soil, concrete, things from the hardware store that frequently rip and make a mess inside the vehicle. You can keep it out here outside where it's a lot easier to hose it off whenever you get home, get it cleaned up. And all these gaps in here, let all that dirt and debris fall through so it doesn't pool up and make a big mess.

Yakima Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Honda CR-V
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Yakima EXO system. And we're gonna take a look at some of the accessories here on our 2022 Honda CR-V. The EXO system is interesting. It's a modular system where you can mix and match different accessories. You have these knobs right over here, you have this really cool cleat system, and that way if you wanted to switch something out for, let's say, a bike rack or a ski and snowboard carrier, it's simply a matter of lifting this up, out, and then putting your brand new accessory in and fitting that into place. So if that's something you're interested in but you're curious about how it'll fit your CR-V, well this is the video to watch.

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Honda CR-V
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2019 Honda CR-V. Now, this is going to be a bit of a unique design in the sense that it's a little bit more narrow, but the big thing here is the very short side walls. That can mean maybe a nice thing if you've got some things like duffle bags that maybe hang over the sides a little bit. Just gives you a little bit more freedom that you're not totally boxed in.

Rola 22x59 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Honda CR-V
Hi there, CR-V owners. Today on our 2019 Honda CR-V, we're going to be taking a look at Rola's cargo carrier and you're probably wondering why I'm standing in the back of the cargo carrier. Well, I'm just showing off its immense carrying capacity of 600 pounds. That's three of me. Most cargo carriers don't boast a capacity this high and I can tell based just by standing in it that it feels sturdier than many of the other cargo carriers out there, particularly the mesh located here at the bottom. It doesn't flex like some of the other brands.

So we'll take a look at how it fits here on our Honda CR-V. The first thing I wanna take a look at is how much length is added to the back of my car right now. So if I had a CR-V, I would measure from this bumper to the end of the carrier, and that would be about 42 3/4 inches.

We've got a raised rail all the way around the outside, this offers good front-to-back, and side-to-side support. It's going to be about 5 1/2" tall, and it's also going to give us some good connection points for our tie-downs once we have everything loaded up. As far as ground clearance goes, we've got about 15 1/4". Overall our carrier adds about 33 1/2" to the back of the CRV.

Also you can see a raised rail all the way around the outside.
