Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero roof rack system on our 2022 Ford Edge. So with the Edge, we don't have any raised or flush rails. So if we want to get larger, longer accessories up on our roof whether that be on the sports and recreation side like kayaks, snowboard carriers, something like that, or on just the storage component whether you want roof boxes or roof baskets. A little bit more storage up on your roof. In either case, you're gonna need a roof rack system like the one we have here to do that.



Yakima JetStream Crossbars Installation - 2022 Ford Edge

How's it going It's Ethan here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack System on our 2022 Ford Edge. With the Edge here, we don't have any sort of raised rails, any sort of flush rails, but if we do want to get anything longer or larger like rooftop accessories, whether that be kayaks, roof boxes, baskets, skiing/snowboard carriers, anything like that up onto our roof, we're first gonna need a roof rack system. So the process if we're getting it on this roof can be a little bit tricky, but we'll walk you through that. when we get to the install section, This is just gonna be a look at how that system fits on this car. First thing we'll notice are these crossbars. So on the top here, we can see that we do have this rubberized strip that goes all the way along the top.

This is a roof rack system that's been designed to mount to the flush side rails of your Ford Edge. It's going to give you a really nice rack to be able to get your favorite rooftop accessories loaded on top of your Edge, rather than taking up space on the inside of your vehicle. You're going really conserve on that elbow and leg room. You're going to be able to get anything from a bike rack to a kayak carrier, maybe even a cargo box on top.



Inno Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford Edge

Today on our 2018 Ford Edge, we're going to be test fitting NO-Aero Roof Rack System. So this NO roof rack system is going to allow us to carry roof mounted accessories. Things like cargo carriers, bike racks, kayak carriers, and more. Now these have aero bars. They're going to be a lot quieter than your traditional round or square bars and they also feature flesh mount end caps which are going to give you more of that factory look.Now this rack does allow us to use both clamp on T-channel accessories. To gain access to the T-channel, you'd simply insert your key into the cap and remove the cap.

Today on our 2018 Ford Edge we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Yakima JetStream Crossbar Roof Rack System. This Yakima Roof Rack System is gonna allow us to carry roof mounted accessories on our Ford Edge, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and much more. It features an aerodynamic design. Like anything we put on our Ford Edge's roof, it's gonna make noise. This design is gonna be a lot quieter than your traditional round, or square bars.Now, it's gonna work with your clamp on accessories as well as your T slot accessories. What makes this crossbar different is that we don't have to remove and trim that rubber strip.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford Edge

Today on our 2018 Ford Edge, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima CoreBar Roof Rack System. Now, the main thing that separates this roof rack system with others is the crossbars are made out of a steel that's covered in a nice hard plastic. Now, this increases the maximum load capacity to 220 pounds, but you will want to check in your Edge's owner's manual to make sure your roof can support that. Go ahead and use whichever number is lower.Now, because of the crossbar's steel design, it only accepts the use of clamp-on style accessories. From the bottom to the top of the roof you have three inches of clearance. Now our crossbars are held in place by four baseline towers, which feature a rubber coating.



SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford Edge

Today on our 2018 Ford Edge we're going to be doing a test fit on the SeaSucker Monkey Bar roof rack system. That's part number 298-SX60000. It uses vacuum cups to adhere itself to your Ford Edge's roof. So that's very unique to this roof rack system. That means you can easily take it off and put it on maybe another vehicle in your household. It'll adhere to glass, like your Edge's roof, metal, must about any roof rack system.



Inno Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford Edge

Today on our 2016 Ford Edge we'll be taking a look at Eno Arrow crossbars. The part number for our crossbars today are INXB115-2, for our flush feet we're using INSS200, and for our custom fit kit for the Ford Edge we're using INK676. These crossbars are a low profile aerodynamic design which will help to reduce wind noise and drag and will allow you to carry any roof-mounted accessories on top of your vehicle. This works with either channel-mounted or clamp-on accessories. The weatherstripping on the inside easily pushes down to adapt for those channel-mounted accessories as well as to help keep dirt, debris and liquid out of your crossbars when you don't have any channel-mounted accessories loaded up. All pieces of the roof rack kit come with a limited lifetime warranty and the crossbars have a 165 pound weight capacity. Here, everything we have on our table is what is included in our kit. We've got our foot pack with our locking cover.



SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Edge

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at how the SeaSucker Monkey Bars fit on a 2015 Ford Edge. So, if you need a quick and easy roof rack because you wanna carry around fun accessories like maybe a kayak or some roof-mounted bike racks or a roof box, then the SeaSucker Monkey Bars are designed for a quick install. Once you arrive at your destination, you can take it off quickly too. If possible I do recommend taking a look at our custom fit options for your Ford Edge, just because they give a little bit more stability and their designed to last a little bit longer since you don't have to constantly take them off and put them back on. But I do understand maybe you're in a rental car or if you just want that quick solution. So these are the 48 inch long crossbars.



Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Ford Edge

Today on our 2015 Ford Edge we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack RS 2500 Series Roof Rack, part number RRRS659B. The Rhino Rack RS Roof Rack System has a great look to it, and it almost looks factory installed, and is able to carry a wide variety of accessories to free up some space inside your vehicle. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, but you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. It does have the Vortex Aero strips up at the top, and that combined with the aerodynamic shape of the bar will cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. All four end cap legs are lockable, so once this is installed onto your roof, it's secure to your roof as well. This comes with everything including the fit kit for your specific vehicle. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have the rear bar partially assembled on our table here, and we'll finish up by applying our fit kit to our other leg.

Today on our 2015 Ford Edge, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00421, this is the Core Bar Crossbar 50 inches long, part number Y00146, these are the Baseline Towers for the Yakima Crossbars, and part number Y06102, this is one set of the Fit Kits for your Ford Edge, and part number Y06139, and this is the final Fit Kit for your Ford Edge. The Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. The two bars have combined carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure that your roof can withstand that weight. The bars have a nice aerodynamic shape to them and that's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. Also, all the towers have these knockouts here which you can buy lock core systems which are sold separately, so once you install this onto your roof, it will be secure to your roof as well. Know that we've gone over the features of the Roof Rack System, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have our rear bar partially assembled on our table here and I will finish assembling it by attaching our Baseline Tower to our Core Bar. We have our tower set up here. Our first step is we're going to insert our adapter piece that comes with our Core Bar. You just push it into place until you hear a loud click like that. Next, we'll take our bracket here, slide that over our bar, then loosely install this portion onto this.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Edge

Today on our 2015 Ford Edge Titanium we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack System. As you can see we've already got our front bar up here in place, you can see what it's going to look like once you get it up on top of the vehicle. We're going to show you how to place on that second bar, place everything together, how it all assembles and comes together as one bar and set-up here. Note that we did already put the front bar on measuring from the edge of the glass here to the front of the foot pack here, that's going to be 13" in distance. The distance from this Q Tower to the other Q Tower on the other side, at the same point, is going to be 43 and 5/8 ", making sure that you have an even amount of bar overhang on each side. We'll go ahead and go through on how all that stuff that I just said, the bar overhang and what part is what part, right here right now. You're going to have the bar, which is part number Y00409, and your Q towers which will be your podium styles, they're going to sit up, those are part number Y00124.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2014 Ford Edge

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ford Edge, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero 2500 Series roof rack system. It's available in black with part numbers RRVA137B-2. They're also available in silver crossbars with part number RRVA137S-2. We'll also be using RRLKVA and part number DK228. The Rhino-Rack Rook Rack System is a premium roof rack for your Ford Edge. It features two 54" aluminum Vortex Aero crossbars.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Ford Edge we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of part numbers RRVA137B-2. These are the Vortex Aero Crossbars, 54 inches long. These also come in silver, part number RRVA137S-2. We'll also be using part number RRRLKVA, these are the 2500 series feet for the Vortex Aero Crossbars. And finally part number DK228, and that's going to be the fit kit, and the clamps that clamp on the door frame of your existing vehicle.Now, how we got the front one installed here, we had everything assembled, we put it into place, and then we measured from the center of the door jamb here to the center of the bar on both sides to make sure it was even, to get everything measured out.



Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford Edge

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack RS 2500 Roof Rack System, part number: RRRS524B. This kit is also available in silver, part number: RRRS524. The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your bike racks, cargo baskets and ski and snowboard carriers on your vehicle's roof. This will allow you to empty up space inside your cargo area. This is an aerodynamic roof rack that is going to have vortex weatherstrip on the inside that helps to reduce wind, noise and drag compared to other styled crossbars. This weatherstrip on the top is removable and it is going to help to keep dirt, debris and liquid out of your crossbar. It is also easily cutdown to accommodate channel-mounted accessories. The locking end cap is going to make sure your refract system stays secure to your vehicle and the custom pad, as well as the clamp, is custom fit to your vehicle and has rubber on any portion that touches your vehicle; so it will help to reduce any kind of scratches or abrasions. This roof rack system has a 165 pound weight pound capacity, so you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. We all ready have our first crossbar installed on our vehicle. We're going to show you how we put the second one together.



SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ford Edge

Today, on our 2013, Ford Edge, we'll be test fitting the Sport Rack semi-custom roof rackfor naked roofssquare cross bars 50 inches long, part number SR-1010 with our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening both front doors. We'll place our front bar onto the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have this bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 9 inches from the center of our door jamb to the center of our footpack. We'll do this measurement on both sides, to make sure that our feet are in-linewith each other. We can use the included Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt to secure our foot clamp around the roof line of our vehicle. We'll do this on both sides.



Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford Edge

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge, we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with a heavy duty square bars 44 inches long and silver, part number DH1375S. We'll also be using the custom DKclamps and pads for the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack systems, part number DK228. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll grab our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof.We need to measure from the center of the door jam to the center arrow of leg foot plate.This measurement needs to be 170 millimeters or 17 centimeters. We'll do this measurement on both sides to insure that our feet are in line with each other. Once we have it in place, we can use the included tool to tighten down the bolt, which will secure our clamp around our roof line. We'll make our way back and forth, tightening a little bit at a time, so we don' t lose our position.
