I love this basket! Once I centered on cross braces, it was easy to leave the connectors in same spot. Also, low enough profile to drive in and out my garage. We have a screen door so that made it a shorter height than traditional garage door.

Excellent! Only issue regarding shipping box a bit battered - but product packed well. Also, hardware missing ie a single washer, which was replaced with one of my own.

Great product. Easy to assemble, all steel, and looks to be indestructible. Shipping department was excellent as well and their communication on our order status was outstanding!

This is a great rack. I had to reverse the mounting brackets to put them on the inside of the rack to mount it on the factory crossbars on my Subaru Cross Trek.

So far so good. Easy installation. Seems to be a good value.

I really can't rate this due to it being a christmas gift. If you would like you can resend rating review after Christmas. What i could say is the product came in a timely manner.

Put this on an 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid- Easy to put together. You might need two people to get it up on top. Strong. Will create some wind noise after install. Solid build and construction.

I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you

Seems very sturdy and very simple together. Solid quality product. I got a car and don't want to put a deer in it so i bought this rack to use for deer season.

Good product and fast free shipping!

Everything came together with no problems, the only concern I had was the carrier box (end view) stated that the dimensions were 60X20 however, on the (flat face) of box it stated 60X24. Happily when I opened it the carrier measured 24 inches wide, well 23 7/8 " to be precise. Oh and the cargo net I bought was one big tangled mess. It took two of us 15 minutes to get it untangled. I only hope it stays that way. I think for the size cargo carrier I bought , we came up with to large of a net. Oh well! I could not be happier with the professionalism and thought for customer that etrailer has puts forth. Whoever designed their approach to marketing at etrailer really did a great job. I was easy and quite fun making my purchases. And their Customer Service is fantastic. Thanks to all of you at etrailer.

It holds the weight that it says it will. My only beef with it is that I have a Curt Hitch reciever and it doesnt really fit “snug”. I dont know which is off but there is a little play between the two.

Kind of a pain putting it together but nice shelve

Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.

Great product

Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.

I’ve got several 1400+ mile trips with this on both a 2017 4Runner and a 2023 Kia Sportage. The basket is well made, easy to install, very solid and so far rust free.

Fit my OEM Hyundai Palisade crossbars perfectly.

I would have given this item 5 stars except for the box it was in. The two halves of the box weren't taped or stapled together. It's a wonder everything was still in box. Box has handholds that weren't used and box had a large hole in it (see photo). Hand holds are not obvious, they are the push in type and weren't pushed it to move box. Product easy to put together and will serve its purpose for me. Etrailer also price matched this item after I found it from another supplier for quite a bit less money. They stand by their word, which will keep me as a customer. Thanks.

I can see why people consider the box a bit flimsy, especially when you do not have it secured to the car and nothing is inside. That’s normal. For this to weigh 34 lbs and yet to be wall sturdy and provide waterproof conditions that the bag cannot, it has to be lightweight. Once we attached it to the car at 4 points, it wasn’t going anywhere and was instantly sturdy. I wouldn’t roughhouse with the locks or opening it up and down with force however. Also, 14 cu for a sedan is plenty. Anything larger and you are looking to push the limits.

Bought this box to hold camping gear while on a cross country road trip. You can put quite a bit of stuff in it. Held securely to roof rack and kept contents dry. I liked that the key could not be removed if lid wasn’t completely closed. Minimal affect on gas milage.

Simple to assemble, light weight and easy to use.

I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.

After a year of dependable use the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box continues to perform to my needs, wants, and expectations. The 2 attributes that shine the most are ease of access/cargo loading (rear access vs. side) and ease of off/on (lightweight and access to the U-bolt hardware). While the overall quality of the materials and hardware are not quite "Excellent", they're darn close. For my needs I'm very happy with this cargo box and the price point makes it a better option the the more expensive brands. It may not be as cool and groovy as a Th*** or Yak*** box but it gets the job done.

The Roof Box was as described and fit great -- Nice. Shipping however was not good, trucker dropped it and the skid at the foot of the driveway -- It looked like it had been crushed and dropped. There was some slight damage, but we accepted it as complaining would be more trouble than it is worth. E Trailer should vet their carriers better -- no care taken with this shipment.

This was a great experience from start to finish. etrailer: After placing the order, I called regarding shipping and quickly got the answer to my question. The box shipped by ground freight, and arrived almost a week before the original scheduled delivery date. The Rhino arrived perfect with protective wrap, and all the required parts. Rhino Rack: This thing is awesome. Unless you jump up into the $1000+ price point, your rooftop carrier options are limited. My two requirements were to fit my skis (181 & 183 cm) and to allow my tailgate to open fully. The Rhino delivered! Bonus that both baby strollers fit as well (Instep baby trailer and Vista Uppababy). Only a week in, but so far the Rhino box and MasterFit clamps seem solid. The ratchet/locking mechanism on the clamps is just ok, you don't have to twist too hard to over power the lock or feel like you are stripping something internally. The hinges are beefy, but don't take up a ton of storage space. It opens from both sides, and you can't remove the key unless it's locked, which is nice for those of us that don't enjoy picking up our stuff on the highway. Also, if you're like me and spent way too much time on mr-box.com, you'll be pleased to know that this thing doesn't look lame. It's pretty sleek, somewhat low profile, with a touch of Euro. It's not too wide, even on the narrow rails of the A4 Allroad there's extra bar space. I could probably squeeze an upright kayak rack, small ski pinchers, or for the ten of us in the world that own RoadShowers...the RoadShower 4 fits no problem. I definitely recommend a Rhino from etrailer.

This is a great car-top carrier. It is light and easy to install and move around. The opening and locking mechanisms also work well. I drove 5 hours with it in the rain and no moisture made it inside. eTrailer was also great when ordering. The freight company lost the first one and eTrailer simply sent me a replacement. Great company to work with.

Great product from a great company I bought this rooftop box for my daughter last year when she moved from Georgia to Oregon. It held well even in ran and snow. This is my second Thule rooftop box. I wish I had bought the first one from etrailer. They have great prices and great customer service.

This is a great product. As described, easy to assemble, light weight. I needed a solution to carry my spare tire for my 2020 Forrest River NOBO 16.2. The NOBO line comes with Rhino tracks to put accessories on them. The camper has the tire mounted on the bumper, but I needed space for a bike rack. I ordered Aero Bars and mounts from etrailer, and this basket as well as the tie down. Worked Great!!!

This is a great basket! It's very light and durable. I can pick it up easily in one hand even though it's pretty big. I have this basket on my 2011 Yaris and it holds 3 duffel bags full of clothes, a folding vacuum, highchair, 2 camping chairs, a longboard, skateboard, a four foot folding table, and another smaller folding table. I've had a few instances where the basket slipped sideways but that was because of extremely hazards roads in Kings Conservation Area in California and getting ran over by half of a tree tumbling down the road and over top of my car in a down burst from a monsoon in Phoenix. This basket has seen about 8,000 miles through 24 states in the last year and I intend for it to see at least a dozen more this year.
