RM Reflex Steering Stabilizer w Mount Brackets for Class C M
using on my extended 15 pass 1 ton chev express van.... Man... what a difference this made instantly.... makes steering former to turn the wheel... by firmer, i mean a bit more input to turn the wheel.... all positive though... it has greatly helped an occassional death wobble down to nothing. the van is new to me, amd not had chance to shake down sispension yet, but this shock/spring combo gives the van such a more confidence inspiring drive. the spring over the shock is really neat, as it brings you right back to center paired with the power steering, actually making the power steering more linear feeling. first drive, i took my hands off the wheel and the van tracked dead straight... price is about right for what it does.... this is a safety modification to me first and foremost, but actually will allow for more time in the drivers seat with less wear n tear on the body. i could see this item priced at around $100 less thoigh for all it really is... a small steering stabilizer shock with a spring on its outside.... the brackets are VERY heavy duty and powdercoated, and accompanied with standard grade 5 hardware zinc plated. overall a good purchase under the $300 mark. install is easy.... directions were fairly clear. an hour to install this first is aboit right. second time around would take me no longer than 30 minutes.... im gunna order one for our c5500 next.
great speed on delivery. 4 stars not 5 because I can't install to cold and snow in mn. looking forward to warmer weather. let you know in the spring. thank you Dan

RM Reflex Steering Stabilizer w Mount Brackets for Class C M
Product failed and leaked Hydraulic fluid after only 5 or 6 less than 10 mile trips. Etrailer.com connected me with the manufacturer who sent me a new shock in 2 days. Great service from both etrailer.com and Roadmaster. Only driven once so far so waiting to see how replacement works.
I installed this on my 2003 Chevy Express 3500 Roadtrek Class B motorhome to help with steering wander. It improved the issue by about 75%. A noticeable improvement. The instructions were a little difficult to follow, but with some tech support help, I was able to remedy the issue by reversing the position of the small end bracket (see pic) that attaches to the steering center link. This is basically a shock absorber (dampener with spring) mounted horizontally on the steering Linkage. It worked well.

RM Reflex Steering Stabilizer w Mount Brackets for Class C M
It took me about an hour to install the RM stabilizer and was surprised that no adjustment was needed after the test drive. I had to call back e Trailer to get torgue specs since it was not included in the package. Overall a great investment my van drives a lot better particularly on the freeway.

Reflex Steering Stabilizer - Class C Ford/Chevy
I waited to write the review because on my initial test after install I could not tell the difference on the drive since there was virtually no wind. Today it was blowing hard with strong gusts. Drove about ten miles on the highway at 75 to 80 mph into strong cross winds and some areas with road construction in progress. It really works. Completely improved the drive. I still feel the wind bursts, but no longer have to fight for control. Highly recommend. Word of caution: the instructions provided by Roadmaster are inaccurate for my Ford E350 Class B+ RV. I will try to attach pictures.

Roadmaster Reflex RV Steering Stabilizer with Mtg Brackets
Quality built steering stabilzer. Well packaged and arrived within my expected time frame.
What a difference this made. I was on the fence about this for quite a while because of the investment needed. Now that’s it’s on my 2018 Coachman Freelander 28QB sitting on a Ford E450 my only advice is don’t wait any longer, put this on as soon as possible! It took all of that steering wheel shake out. No need to hang on with a death grip anymore. The stabilizer is very easy to put on, it took me about 1 ½ hours to complete including taking the old one off. Just follow the great video and printed instructions from etrailer and you will have no problems at all.

The customer service I received from Sara at Etrailer was 1st class service.
Easy installation took me less than 40 minutes from start to finish. Test drive was a “remarkable” difference than before.

Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes
First, I did have to grind off corner of the plate that mounts under leaf spring bolts. It would not lay flush so I tapered one of the edges where it met the axel a little bit till it laid flush. I did buy a 3/4 inch wrench set but with an rv, it's good to have and will possible allow me to get the 22.5 inch wheels off in an emergency. This with a good solid 3' pipe and I was able to fairly easily break the leaf spring bolts free. I used boards to ensure the fronts tires were fairly straight, laying them alongside the tires and eyeballing to see where they lined up with the back tires which are about 4 inches wider than the front outside width. I mounted the steering stabilizer and took it for a test drive and it was good the first time, no additional adjustments needed. Feels good on the road, good around turns, and even at low speeds around the driveway, I did not notice any extra effort to turn the wheel due to the heavy spring on the stabalizer. Put about 75 miles on it and it feels solid and stable though no high winds or passing semi trucks yet. But my 2007 ford f53 22000 lb chassis under a holiday rambler admiral body has always felt pretty good. Just trying to make better, next up is the new koni evo fsd heavy duty shocks coming today.
I have a class A motorhome, F53. I installed a Roadmaster reflex steering stabilizer, a Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar 1 3/4" diameter, 4 new koni shocks and 6 new tires. Now, it feels well planted on the road. Its a combination. Very happy !

Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets
This was purchased to help the steering on my Motorhome and it helped a little. I feel it does what it can but not to the way where I an not exhausted after driving only 4 hours. Would I purchase it again if I knew this would only help a little, No I would not. Part of the issues I know is the Ford chassis and the steering on them are very bad from what I hear.
I just installed the reflex stabilizer bar this morning and it made a big difference in the way my motorhome drove.

Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes
Excellent setup, road manners are so much better. I don't have to work to keep the truck straight anymore. Installed in less than an hour with just a few basic tools.
This stabilizer made my truck much safer to drive. When pulling a trailer, the truck was difficult to handle. Any line or imperfection in the pavement would lead the truck around and cause it to sway. It now handles much better.

Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer
Hey RV'rs.... I upgraded from the Roadmaster stabilizer and the difference was phenomenal... Prince Edward county to Key West with minimal steering correcting
This exact center steering stabilizer is excellent. Takes a bit of driving to get used to it but does what it says.

RM Reflex Steering Stabilizer w Mount Brackets for Class C M
I own a 2006 Sportsmobile (ford e250) I have added extra leaf springs, up graded to bilstein shocks and added a hellwig rear sway bar and the van still did not track well driving at any speed. The roadmaster stabilizer was the ticket. The van feels much more stable and it is easier to drive and has also reduced driving fatigue.
E350 super duty, did no do too much for return to center, but OH boy, it drives like a car down the road now. Highly recommend. etrailer--super fast shipping, money well spent!!

Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer for Class A Motor Homes
No issues. Significantly helps steering.
I received my front anti sway bar (RM-1139-140) around noon on the day it was promised. The package was undamaged and all parts were contained within. After lunch I installed the bar in less than 30 minutes, which included the removal of the factory bar. I installed it by myself from the ground. Simple install although I did deviate some from the instructions to make it easier for me as the bar is heavy. Instructions say to attach the bar to the axle with the bushings and saddle clamps first, then bolt the endlinks. Instead I bolted the endlinks first then simply swung/rotated the bar to the axle and attached with the saddle clamps. I did not have to lift the heavy bar to the axle as the weight was already supported by the endlinks. Easier if doing the install alone in my opinion. About a week prior I had installed a Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer ( RSSA-RBK9). These 2 items greatly improved the steering and sway problems which were extremely bad in my 2013 Winnebago Vista 26HE. So bad that I considered the drive extremely stressful and dangerous. With these 2 parts added the drive is now 80 to 90 per cent improved. Very happy.
