Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Excellent website, great communication , quick delivery, awesome product!
We are very pleased with our bike rack and it gets a lot of use. The only reason for one less star is we can't open our rear gate all the way when the bike rack arm is lowered. Otherwise it would get 5 stars hands down. The service has also been excellent from etrailer. They really want to make sure you have the best product to serve your needs. If I ever need another rack, I wouldn't use any other company. Customer for life :-)

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I must tell you, my excellent rating is based on the ease of putting the unit together, and how simple it was to attach to my Nissan Rogue. It is perfect for two bikes, even my wifes step through with a slant bar. But that's about all I can say, as the weather in the Northeast, and here in Buffalo, has been so crappy, the unit has done nothing but sit in my garage for 3 weeks! I'm sure it will be GREAT when I can use it, as I did a test ride of about 5 miles on pothole filled streets, and the bikes and rack were absolutely solid! I hope to get the rack in action before July. Joking...sort of!

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
awesome, adjustable bike trailer, I was able to use it on my Nissan Rogue and Toyota Corolla
Quality product that has been easy to use. I wanted something that could be kept on my Pathfinder and still allowed me to open the back hatch. We can quickly switch it to my wife's Rogue with a few length adjustments.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Works great! Fits perfect in my new hitch too! I like that it can move when I need to open the back of my car.
First, I have to compliment etrailer on their excellent customer service. I submitted a question about a different rack and received a thorough reply. The rack arrived faster than I expected, but it was the wrong one. No big deal. With a simple 10 minute phone call the correct one was on the way. It arrived just as fast. Now to the rack. It came fully assembled. All I had to do was put the stabilizer bolt in. Very small. No big deal. The rack slid right in. I loved the hitch bolt. It slowed the process a tad , but it made it a lot sturdier. I have a Nishiki Alamosa with a 22 inch frame and 27.5 inch tires. This bike is not small. It was no trouble getting it on and strapped down. The thick rubber straps were great. I also purchased 2 soft ride hook and loop tire downs to keep the front tire straight. The ride was smooth. Plenty of ground clearance. No worries there. Did it shake any? Of course when I hit a bump it did a little. Unloading the bike and removing the rack was quick and easy. Overall after only one trip with this rack I am thoroughly satisfied. It was perfect. It's only about 10 miles to the trail so I didn't need anything more.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Bought this to transport my children's bicycles; for the smallest bike (6 year olds) the bike is too small to fit on this properly; fortunately its also small enough to put inside our Nissan Rogue, so not the end of the world. For my 8 year old it just fits and its fine for my adult bike. I keep the rack on all the time as it doesn't get in the way when not in use, and attaches very solidly. My only other comment would be I am a short small person, and its a struggle to get the bikes attached. The strap system was definitely designed for someone with bigger stronger hands, so its unnecessarily frustrating. Overall it does what I need it to.
Thule passage 3 bikes carrier is an amazing product. I love the product design, quality and easy to install for use.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Seemingly well-constructed and supported bike rack. It fits my 2018 Toyota Camry SE just fine and I haven't had any issues with sway or even feeling my bike while driving. I've only carried one bike on it and have used it a limited number of times, so I cannot speak on durability and longevity. Although you shouldn't open your trunk while the rack is attached, I have been able to do so with no issue (without the bike attached).
While getting a bike rack for a sports car isn't ideal, I really wanted to transfer my bike with my own car instead of borrowing my friend's pickup truck. After hours of trying to find a bike rack that would be good for my 07 Mustang, I decided to give this one a try and I gotta say, it has been pretty good so far. It fits very well over the factory spoiler. One of my biggest concerns I was worried about when ordering a rack for my Mustang was ruining the paint, but the feet on the legs haven't left one scratch. I have used this to transfer my bike at freeway speeds (up to 80 mph) on car rides that typically last an hour and my bike was perfectly secure throughout each ride. For extra security, I wrapped both bike wheels with a ratchet strap so the wheels and pedals wouldn't shift in transit. So far, I am very pleased with this bike rack for the price and quality. I would highly recommend this if you want a rack that is affordable and durable.

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Truly grooving on my wife's new Swagman Chinook bike rack. She wanted to be able to transport her nice road bike easily without throwing it in the back of her car, and since a roof rack is out of the question, this Swagman model fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly on the anticipated date. Kudos to etrailer.com for the email updates to keep me informed of my purchase. Within one hour, it was installed on my wife's 2014 Mazda3 hatchback. The Swagman is heavy and solid, which is reassuring as it makes me feel confident that it will keep the bikes secure. It also makes me feel like I got my money's worth. A ratchet wrench and Phillip's head screwdriver were the only tools required for the easy install. I did my research before purchasing the Chinook model as I was also eyeballing a very similar Thule rack that was slightly more expensive. I spoke with an etrailer.com expert who gave me the lowdown on both models. Ultimately, the Swagman won out because it has a smaller 'footprint' while extended or folded up ... and also can tilt away from the car for easy access to the hatchback area. Very convenient! FYI: Mazda doesn't make a trailer hitch for the Mazda3 as it's a small car with a small engine and has no business towing anything. Thankfully, the Curt company makes an aftermarket frame and trailer hitch that fits the Mazda3 hatchback perfectly with no drilling. Stupidly, I purchased it from another online company thinking I was getting a good deal. Turns out etrailer.com had it for less with FREE shipping. Oh well ... live and learn. Now I know that etrailer.com is one-stop shopping for bike racks AND trailer hitches. (Full disclosure: I had the garage down the street install the frame as it's easier with a lift) Only snafu: the shipment contained an extra set of keys that I assumed was for the hitch bolt lock (there was also a set of keys on the bolt itself). I spent 15 minutes using those keys trying to figure out how to remove the lock from the bolt to install it on the hitch. The keys just wouldn't turn in the lock. I called etrailer.com and Kevin told me to try the other set of keys ... and they worked. So an extra set of keys came with it that did absolutely nothing ... weird! Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity and durability of the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack as I just installed it. What I can speak to is the sturdiness of it, the ease of the installation and my complete satisfaction with the good folks at etrailer.com.
I ordered the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack on line from etrailer and so far have been very satisfied. The bike rack was delivered in less than a week. Unpacking the rack and assembly was fairly straightforward. I have read some reviews that complained the assembly instructions were a bit vague. I didn't have a problem but can see where others without a mechanical background get confused. The rack is very sturdy, but there is some side to side play in the tilt mechanism. I'm not sure this can be avoided with a rack that folds down. Installing the Curt trunk stabilizing strap takes most of the sway out of the rack. Installation is fairly easy and quick. It takes me 6 - 7 minutes to install the back on my hitch, and to install the bike and be ready to drive away. That seems reasonable to me. So far I've only loaded 1 bike. I've included pictures of my installation on a 2014 Mercedes Benz E350 sedan. Clearance between the bikes, the rack and the car are good. With the bike loaded in the inside, most forward position, I have 6" clearance between the pedal and the bumper. With the bike removed, the center support folded flat and the rack folded up in the storage position, I have 4" clearance between the closest part of the bike rack (the fold down hinge assembly) and the back bumper of the car. I am able to open the trunk of the car without removing the bikes or using the tilt feature, but I do have to remove the stabilizing strap first. Overall, I'm very pleased with the bike rack and think it will serve me much better than my old strap on rack. Since the weather has been cool since getting the bike carrier, I haven't taken any long trips to give it a real workout.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
This thing is built like a tank! It is of the best fit and funtion I have seen in a bike rack! Solid as can be, fits my bikes perfectly and looks awesome! Plus it folds completely out of the way to access the rear liftgate on my 2022 Rav4!
Great service from etrailer and the rack arrived as expected. Fairly easy assembly. OK video on Kuat’s site, but didn’t cover the foot pedal. Really glad we got the 2” hitch. It tightened up and we’re impressed with the quality and the stability of the rack. We haven’t done a road test yet, but look forward to putting it to the test. We have a Ford F-150 and it works great. The bikes were fairly easy to load with the batteries out and two people. We do need the strap extenders for our RadMini Step Thru’s. The tires are too big for the ones that come with. Only one set of extenders came with the bike and one adapter for a smaller tire. It’s okay, but since it’s a two bike unit, would have been nice to have both extenders. Otherwise, we are really liking the look and stability.

Rhino-Rack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
Nice bike rack. User friendly lever to release tilt. Perfect bike rack for 2.
I purchased this bike rack a year ago and I use it A LOT. I had to buy and install a stabilizer because without it, the unit would sway back and forth even without a bike on it (very noisy). This makes removal more cumbersome but since I keep the hitch on year round it doesn't matter to me. The tilting function is fabulous allowing easy use of my RAV4 hatchback. I can even tilt it down with a bike on it. I got the 2 bike hitch. Plenty of room for two bikes to fit without rubbing. Lastly, the hitch has a sizable through-hole on the bottom to thread a good sized cable so I can lock my bike up. Sturdy. I highly recommend.

Rola TX-104 4-Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Tilting
Decent 4-bike rack for the price. Stable side-to-side with the screw-in hitch pin (2 inch receiver version). Gets some fore-aft rocking over bumps at speed (inherent to the tilting design). Bikes need bungee cords to keep them from swinging (typical for this style of rack). I used this with two bikes, and really struggle to see how four full-size bikes could be added. Maybe if seats were removed? I added bumpers and some padding for the vertical post, and will probably relocate the retainer pin lanyard so the rack can be completely collapsed for storage. A few design improvements for 5 star rating would be: 1 - Add some bumpers for the fully lowered position, 2 -Add some padding on the vertical post for bike contact or accidental vehicle hatch lifting when in the raised position, 3 - Mount the retainer pin lanyard to one of the through-bolts or move the lanyard hole - collapsing this rack chews up the retaining lanyard. etrailer.com service was great - well packaged, and quickly shipped!
Excellent service and fast shipping by etrailer. Bike rack itself was easy to put together and install. It came in with a few scratches. It works well with large bikes. Slight problems started with the smaller bikes. The rack's arms are wide enough to accommodate the bikes, but the slides are not designed for smaller frames. If you have smaller bikes you might have to purchase the bike frame adapter bar for each bike. It's not a huge problem for us since the kids are growing up fast and soon they will have to graduate to the large frame bikes. In the mean time I will have to use extra straps to hold them together.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This is a very nice piece of hardware for what I need. I wanted a carrier built well enough to haul 4 bikes several hundred miles without damage. I also was impressed that it gives a little extra clearance at the back, because of how it angles up from the pavement. I am using this unit with a Nissan Rogue, and my U-Haul hitch doesn't come out quite far enough to allow it to swing into the upright position. I emailed etrailer for a solution, and their answer was extremely thorough and helpful. (I will need to get a hitch extender with an anti rattle device; I just haven't done that yet.) Dealing with etrailer.com was fantastic. This is a SUPER professional, courteous group to deal with; they're education- and service-oriented. More online businesses should pattern themselves after etrailer's model. You can't help but want to do more business with them!
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…

etrailer Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue
`- Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer, four bike rack here on our 2015 Nissan Rogue. That's going to be a hanging style bike rack, capable of holding four bikes. Now with a hanging style rack, you want to avoid any sort of carbon frame bikes, because that will put some damage on that tube there, so just keep that in mind. This isn't necessarily a really high end rack, it's a really great entry-level option. If you're just looking for an easy, simple way to get you and your family to some trails, to ride of your bikes, this is gonna be a pretty good way to do it.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue BA22B
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 base bike rack here on our 2015 Nissan Rogue. That's going to be a really nice platform style bike rack, and one of the standout things with this one is the way it holds it. It's going to be a wheel mounted bike rack, which means it holds it by the front tire here and has a secondary attachment point at the back tire with this strap here. It's going to be great for your carbon frame bikes because you're not going to have any sort of frame contact, but it's also going to be good for those alternative frame bikes or even e-bikes. Because again, we're not relying on frame contact to hook onto and it's gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity.

We also have these adjustable wheel cradles at the bottom here. Just loosen up these knobs. They can move along the length of the bike rack, and this is going to assist with loading it up, and it also can accommodate different size bikes as well. How it does that is, you come to this black handle on the other side of the mast, pull out like so, and just let it come to you. With it in this position, we now have full access to the rear hatch to get whatever it is we need and plenty of space on either side to do so as you can see here. To put it back in its original position, just simply push back up and it will lock back into place.

Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. Now it's always good practice once you take the straps just to put them back on just because you don't want to lose the while you're driving and you don't want them flapping around while you're driving.

Today we're going to be taking a look and doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Ridge. Now this is a folding and tilting 5-bike rack. It's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. The part number on it is SR2405. Now the Ridge is going to offer us five locations to transport a bike. Each of them are going to have an anti-sway cradle.
Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue
Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This is going to be your roof-rack-mounted bike rack. It's going to be part number TH528. If you look up here on top of the vehicle, you'll see that we already have our Thule AeroBlade Edges installed on our factory roof rails. Let's see how this fits on top of those. First step is going to be to make sure that the strap is undone from the top on both sides. We'll slide that front side under, and then our back side we'll slide it back or wherever it needs to go to meet up with our crossbars.
Rhino Rack MountainTrail Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue
Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be doing the test fit of the Rhino-Rack's Mountain Trail Rooftop-Mounted Bike Rack. As you can see, we already have our Rhino-Rack crossbar installed up here, and we're going to be placing it on here to show you how it looks and fits. First step we're going to do once we get it up here is going to be to remove the cover. If you have a lock or a key for it, go ahead and unlock that and pull it off. We'll set that to the side temporarily while we undo our straps. To undo the straps, you're going to pull them out of the T-grooves right there just like so. We'll bring it back on the other side of the bar, slide those straps underneath.
