Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
i installed this on a 2011 Honda Pilot and it worked well for our family of 5. The item is pretty heavy and it feels pretty sturdy, but because of how much it comes out behind the car, there is some slight swaying when the trailer is fully loaded. If you are going to put 4 bikes on this trailer, you'll have to think about handlebar and pedal orientation so that they fit in a way that the bikes are vertical and fully resting on the trailer. Additionally, the part the bikes rest on, can also be rotated as needed. Some things that would have been nice to know prior to purchase: -the trailer is secured with a screw; in order or fully secure it, you will need to purchase a separate hitch lock
I only received the rack yesterday but I tried it on the vehicle today. It was easy to install to the hitch. I haven't put bikes on it yet but I was pushing and pulling it and it felt very sturdy.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
We haven’t used it yet but we like it
The product, Swagman XTC-2 bike carrier arrived on time as estimated. No scratch, no bent, no missing parts - all good. Installation process took about 30 minutes: some parts came pre-assembled. Our SUV has a 2" receiver, so we use the rack as delivered (assembled for 2" use). Already taken the bikes out for a ride: this easy, safe, and comfortable product made it a breeze. We love it and hope to use it for a long time.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I love my Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack. Very simple to put together. In less than an hour you are done. The quality and finish of the rack is superb. You can put different size bikes from children to adult without a problem. Bikes are secure, I have driven at highway speeds without any concern at all. I had a two pole hanging type bike rack before this one and the bikes were getting scratched and I was always concerned of them falling off. The swagman bike rack folds away nicely when not in use and it fits perfectly on my 2005 Honda pilot. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this product.
As our family has grown, so have our bikes. We needed an upgrade from our frame mount rack. The XTC4 was an easy decision based on the many product reviews and some careful research. First, shipping was amazing! I ordered it on a Monday, and it was at my door the next day. Assembly took about an hour. Setting up and adjusting for four bikes took about another hour to make sure all bikes would go on and off the same way each time. It fits our fleet of mountain bikes nearly perfectly. It also fits behind our 2012 Honda pilot with room to spare when folded upright. Great product, awesome shipping!

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Overall the rack has been fine, I use it 2-3x a week to carry my bike to the trails. I do however, have some feedback. The locking hanger that secures the bike in place is not intuitive. You have to push down on the bike to get it to unlock. Not a big deal but I got really frustrated trying to unload the bikes until I figured it out. The finish comes off easily, I have had to sand down and paint some of the points where the different parts touch several times. Currently, the pivot points have surface rust on them. The thumb adjusters to lock the slides have a tendency to come loose. Once I neglected to adjust them and the bike did fall off the rack, fortunately it was at low speed so only the derailleur hanger bent. Lastly, the middle locking pin has recently started to back itself out while driving around. It doesn't cause anything to happen aside from the rack rattling around. These are all small things that are part of wear and tear of a product that lives outside and is meant to haul gear- I am not disappointed in the equipment, just providing real life feedback.
Love this for the height as I am a 72 year old woman and lifting the bile can be a problem for me, but not with this rack I use on my Honda Pilot. I do use a bungee cord around the post while I am taking the bike off the rack as the bike will fall off once the holding bar is elevated so this prevents accidental damage to your car and bike.

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Performed perfectly on a 140 mile round-trip in my 2017 Acura MDX. It took me a few tries to position the anchors inside the top of the hatch, but I got the hang of it and the rack did not shift at all while driving 50-60 mph on the highway.
Excellent quality! Bike rack comes fully assembled. Cam locks hold the upper support and the bike arms in position and are very easy to use.fairly useless included cable lock. Will only work if you always carry 3 bikes. I just used my cable lock and had no problems transporting my bike to the trails.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.
this thing is a beast. while i haven't used it as much as i thought i would, i'm really happy with the quality of the rack. would def recommend to others looking for a 4 bike rack.

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Perfect for my 2019 RAV-4. I like this product because it allows me to drive and park without having to worry about height clearances in the city and parking was still navigable. Definitely worth the money!
First, etrailers.com is the BEST! Okay, this rack is amazing. If it was made in the U.S.A, I believe it would be closer to $ 800.00+, it's not, thus the incredible price point, imo. Incredible craftmanship, sturdy, versatile, nice to look at, as well. Very detailed instructions included. Fits my 2015 Prius 4 perfectly. Our beach cruises both required adaptor bars. I opted to wait on the bike rack, to ensure a good fit, etc. then purchase the adaptor bars. After much research, I went with Delta adaptors, I wish etrailers.com carried them, but they do not. Nevertheless, this rack is tops, highly recommend. Thank you for reading!

etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Honda Pilot
Today on our 2011 Honda Pilot we're going to be testing the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Rack. Part number NV22G. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first and most important feature about this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bikes still attached. To do that we have this handle here on the side. This is kind of nice as it's a little easier to get to than the ones that would be underneath the arms or past the arms.
Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Honda Pilot
Today on our 2011 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima HoldUp Two Bike Rack, part number Y02443. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, the first and most important feature about this bike rack is the fact that you can tilt this away from the vehicle to gain rear hatch access with the bike still attached. To do this, you come to this red knob here towards the vehicle, lifting up slightly on the bike rack, you pull out and holding onto the bike rack, not the bikes, you let the bike rack come towards you. Now, we have access to our rear hatch. I would like to point out that with the handle bars we have here, it just barely misses.
Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Honda Pilot
Today on our 2011 Honda Pilot, well be testing the Thule Big Mouth Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Crossroad Roof Rack System on our vehicle, well begin our test today by placing the big mouth directly onto our load bars. At the front, well bring the clamp around our bar, fit the T-bolt through the appropriate slot, and use the wing nut on top to tighten it in place. We can then repeat this process for the other side of the front platform. At the rear, well undo one of the wing nuts so we can bring our bolts around our rear bar. Well fit the bolt through the clamp and tighten both wing nuts until its secure. Well undo our front wheel strap, open our jaws, and undo the wheel strap at the rear. Well grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack.
What our customers are saying:
"Everyone that bought before me was right! I got my rack in time for my next days off and putting it together was fast too. And I'm a grandma!! Thank you for being fast and honest! You beat anyone in my town hands down!"
