We're going to pull out on our black t-pin on the side, and we're able to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle.

We're first going to show you how we secure it into place. We have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame here and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. We're going to start by pulling down and lifting up to release those.



Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2008 Dodge Durango

Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango we're doing a test fit of the Tulle Vertex spring-away style of and hanging style for bike rack. That part number is TH9031XT. We already have our bike secured down, first I'm going to show you the main feature of this rack and it's going to be our swing-away feature. Going to start off by removing our T-pin here on the end and we'll save that for later. Going to undo our screw here at the back, want to loosen that completely so that it hangs loosely just like so. We'll pull up on our T-pin here and rotate our bike rack out. When it's about halfway, I'll rotate the front portion so the T-pin inserts into the bracket on the back and I'll keep rotating it out. We want to line up our pinholes here and we'll insert our pin.



Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2008 Dodge Durango

Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango, we're doing a test fit of the Swagman XC2 platform style 2 bike rack. That part number is S64650. We already have our bike secured down, so we're first going to show you how we secure it in place. You'll notice we have 2 wheel cradles holding our tires in place, then we have our frame hook, so we're going to have 1 point of contact here that's going to hold that down onto our wheel cradles. To release that, we're just going to squeeze in on the gray button there and lift straight up. Then we'll be able to take our bike off, and we can set it off to the side. One great thing about our wheel cradles here is that they are actually adjustable. You can just loosen up the thumb screws and adjust those how you need to. I'll take a few measurements.
