Inno Fork Lock with bike

The Inno Fork Lock fork-mount carrier lets you transport 1 bike on the roof of your vehicle. A 9-mm quick-release skewer secures your bike's front fork, and a ratcheting strap secures the rear wheel. The carrier attaches to the T-slots of your Inno Aero crossbars. A locking cover secures your bike to the carrier and the carrier to your crossbars.

Fork Block with 9-mm Skewer

The fork block includes a 9-mm quick-release skewer with an oversize handle. To mount your bike, simply open the handle, lower your bike fork into the skewer, tighten the adjuster, and close the handle. The adjuster will spin freely once your skewer is secure to prevent over-tightening.

Adjustable Rear-Wheel Strap

Inno Fork Lock rear wheel strap

A v-shaped wheel tray holds tires up to 2-11/16" wide. The rear wheel is secured by a strap that slides along the tray to accommodate bikes of different lengths. The strap ratchets down on both sides of the rear tire to ensure a tight fit.

Easy Installation

Video Transcript for Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Female: Today, on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INXA 391. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. So here in the back we have a ratcheting strap. This is quick and easy to remove. It's just going to hold our bike tire down in place.

Now a great thing about this strap, is that it does move up and down the entire length of your bike rack to accommodate different style bikes you may have. At the front we have a locking cover here that we'll move out of the way, that's going to prevent any theft or tampering. With that out of the way, we can take a look at our skewer here. To release that, we're going to open up our handle. Now a great thing about having that skewer is that it does accommodate different size forks that you may have. So with that out of the way, we can pull our bike off of our rack and set it off to the side. Then I like to replace my skewer in that cover. Now one other thing that you may notice about the back and where your tire is supposed to sit, is that we don't have that regular wheel cradle that you'd see.

We do have a smaller area here. This is going to be great for your road bike tires, but the rest of the bike rack is the cradle. So if you have those mountain bike tires that are a little bit bigger, those will fit in that area as well. As for how the back is secured down, we have a nut right here. Now this gets secured to a bolt that is actually inside the channel here on our crossbars, and that just gets tightened down with an Allen key. We also have the option to loosen this up here to be able to move that bolt to accommodate different crossbar spreads that you may have. Now at the front, if we remove our cover one more time,.

You'll see two of those same nuts there. Again, we have the two bolts on the inside and that does accommodate for this crossbar style. It also fits some factory style as well that have that weather strip that you can remove. So we would just use the same Allen key for that. Then when you're all loaded up, you can lock that into place and prevent theft and tampering. That's going to be our completed look at the Inno Fork Lock Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number is INXA 391 on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee.Male: This is our test course.

Let's start with the slalom. This shows side to side action, such as turning corners or evasive maneuvering. Then onto our alternating speed bumps, this shows twisting action, such as hitting curbs, potholes, road debris or an uneven pavement. Last of all, the solid speed bumps. This shows up and down action, such as driving through a parking lot, or parking garage, or driving in and out of a driveway.

Thank you so much for providing the below information! My experience with etrailer.com has been great so far and I appreciate the follow up. The crossbars fit perfectly and I will definitely be writing a review. However, I realized when I opened the bike racks that I purchased the wrong rack for my car/bars. Would you be able to provide me with information on how to return the bike racks 600426

Great product that's worked well through rain and snow over the past year. Easy to mount and dismount my road bike, in addition to the hybrid. May need to WD-40 or silicon spray the lock, as it's getting a tad tight, but perfect beyond that. 401181

Do you have a question about this Roof Bike Rack?

  • Accessory Compatibility with Various Brands of Roof Racks That Have T-Slots
  • In our experience the various manufacturers of roof racks and rack-mount accessory carriers have designed their respective products to work well together. The T-Slots in the bars of the Rola Sport Series Roof Rack # 59823 will work just fine with Thule, Inno, Lockrack and other brands of carriers so long as they are made to fit the T-slots (or "channels") in the tops of such roof rack bars. We have T-slot kayak carriers like the Lockrack # 339LR65LASET, bike carriers like the Inno #...

  • Does Inno Fork Lock Roof Bike Carrier Fit Crossbars of Alfa Romeo Giulia
  • I think I can help you determine if the Inno Fork Lock, part # INXA391, fits your Alfa Romeo Giulia's roof rack or not but I wasn't able to get the specific dimensions of the T-bolt. I was able to find in the installation details that it shows a diagram of the size of T-slot needed in the crossbars. The slot needs to be 21 to 22 millimeters at the widest point within the channel and 10.5 to 11.5 millimeters wide at the opening. It should also be about 5 millimeters tall. Take a look...
