There will be four wires coming out of a large wire harness by the driver side firewall, left of the brake pedal, which can be wired to the brake controller wires. Norm, I checked with Tekonsha and they actually don't make a plug in adapter for your 2024 Ford Ranger unfortunately. It looks like they ran the wires to a large wire harness that goes through the driver's side firewall, left of the brake pedal, with shrink tubing on the ends.

According to our research, a 2019 - 2023 Ford Ranger will have 4 blunt cut wires sticking out of a large wire harness on the driver-side firewall that you'll need to splice the brake controller to.
So you can actually use either the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR or the Liberty # RED52VR with your Ranger since you'll just be splicing in the connections.

No, you do not Albert. I looked up the flat towing process for a 2023 Ford Ranger and you do not have to disconnect the battery when flat towing. You will however need the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit item # RM-156-25 to keep your battery from dying while your Ranger is being towed.
