Will Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller Work With 2019 Ford Ranger With Factory Tow Package

I have a 2019 Ford Ranger w/towing package. I was wondering if the Curt, Blue Tooth trailer brake control C51180, will work on my vehicle? The description online says it wont work with the factory trailer towing package. It only works with the 7 wire plug in, WITHOUT the factory towing pkg.

Hi John; yes, the Curt Echo # C51180 will work with your 2019 Ford Ranger. The only thing it needs to function on any vehicle is a working 7-way so it is compatible since you have one on the truck.
Since you're looking at wireless options you may be interested in the new Redarc Tow-Pro Link # RED57AR. The Link installs at the back of your trailer connector so it is always ready to go. You get the reliability of Redarc, along with a physical remote which is powered via a USB port, plus the app. The remote is good to have so you can easily use the manual override and the sway control feature. The app is nice because it also has the ability to check your trailer functions on the connector as well.
