Hey Fabian, I checked with EcoHitch just now and they verified that their hitch part # EH36SR that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid model. While we haven't the chance to install this on a 26' model yet I can guarantee it will fit as EcoHitch does not mess around with their fits. They for sure test fit and verified it. view full answer...
Hey Greg! Yes, the Oris Trailer Hitch with Disappearing Hitch Receiver # TS69VR will fit your Model S. This is designed to fit models built after the mid-year refresh like yours. The receiver folds under so it will be hidden behind your bumper when not in use.
What kind of bike rack/bikes are you carrying? view full answer...
Hey, Jeff.
Thanks for your question. I looked into the Oris hitch part # TS69VR for your 2026 Tesla Model S and there isn't a feature on the hitch that would lock it in the down position.
Is it moving a lot when you're putting your rack in? It should be stiff enough so that it wont do that, but I can totally understand how if your hit it just right that it would start to move and need to be reset so to say. view full answer...
Hello Dave. In regards to the CE Smith Bunk Roller # CE27700 about half of the diameter of the roller sits above the metal rail, there is 1" (maybe 1-1/16") of clearance between the metal rail and the boat bottom when the boat is sitting on the rollers. So it sounds like your strap end fitting will fit, but just barely. view full answer...
To install the Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack # Y02637 on your 2018 Tesla Model S you will just need to make the Joe Measurement 14-7/8" and then change the hooks to anchor mode - the straps are long enough though and won't need to be exchanged for longer ones. I'm linking a video I made for the FullBack where I demonstrate what the anchor mode is at the 3:24 minute mark.
You will need to remove the bike rack prior to opening up your hatchback. This is the case for about 99% of trunk mount... view full answer...
Hey JD, thanks for reaching out!
According to my research the 2023 Tesla Model S Base and Plaid versions have the same rear fascia (or very nearly the same) so the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH36SR will fit both styles perfectly!
If you let me know what you plan on using the hitch for I'd be happy to make any additional recommendations for you! view full answer...

Hi Rick!
The Electric Trailer Brake Assembly for Lippert ABS Hubs - 12" - Left/Right Hand - 5.2K - 7K # LC83PX comes with one left brake and one right brake, so it will cover one axle. If you are needing this for two axles, as an example, you will need to order a qty.2 of the # LC83PX.
Are you needing this for one or more axles? And also, what are you wanting to install them on? view full answer...
Hey DJ, yes the EcoHitch part # EH36SR that you referenced is a totally hidden trailer hitch that fits your 2026 Tesla Model S and would be what you would want. When not in use the lower hitch opening gets removed so that it's completely out of sight. Are you going to be carrying a bike rack? view full answer...

Hey John. Your installer is 100% correct. The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59496 will not work with a 16 volt system. From what I was told you need a 24v universal connector and a step down converter adapter. We currently do not have anything that will work. view full answer...
The Eco Hitch # EH36SR will install in about the same location as the OEM Tesla hitch, and will utilize the factory opening. According to the instruction manual, no additional cutting of the bumper will be required. So you will be able to remove the receiver attachment and reinstall the factory access panel. view full answer...
I reached out to my contact at EcoHitch to see if they have seen this issue before with the EcoHitch # 306-X7201 on your Tesla and if they have any suggestions. My contact did say that the Tesla rear bumper has quite a bit of tolerance from the factory, so it's something they occasionally see but more often there's enough clearance available to hook up safety chains.
With that being said, clearance is obviously an issue for you based on the picture you attached. My contact said they have... view full answer...
Yes, we do have a trailer hitch that is confirmed to fit your 2021 Tesla Model S Refreshed. The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH36SR is confirmed to fit.
I like the EcoHitch because when you're not using the receiver you can completely remove it when it is not in use. Then you could use The Undercover Access Hole Cover # 306-XA2001 which will cover the receiver hole when removed.
The Ecohitch has an easy, bolt-on installation and has a maximum gross trailer towing weight up... view full answer...
Yes, it will. The EcoHitch Trailer Hitch item # EH36SR is custom fit for your 2023 Tesla Model S. It has a 2" receiver and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs so it will definitely work for your bike rack.
I really like this hitch because the receiver is detachable. When you're not using your bike rack you can remove it and you won't be able to tell you have a hitch installed.
I recommend using the Undercover Access Hole Cover for EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch item # 306-XA2001.... view full answer...
