The Prodigy RF brake controller # TK94FR does receive power from the 12 volt circuit in the trailer connector. But it is not taking anything away from the trailer mounted battery or its charger if equipped.
Think of it like an outlet in your house. You can have several things plugged into the same outlet and all of them will work (unless you REALLY overload it!). It is the same principle at work with the 12 volt circuit. Trailer mounted battery chargers and the charge required by the... view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13116 has been tested and is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver tube opening. It is made in the U.S.A. and comes with a lifetime warranty.
The installation of this hitch is also very straightforward. The rear bumper will need to be temporarily removed for installation but there will not be any drilling required. This makes for a very concealed look as you can see in the attached... view full answer...
What we have found is that sometimes when installing the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a 2005-Current Porsche Cayenne there are times when the display of the P3 may become erratic. We recommend installing a 12V normally open relay to fix this issue. You don't necessarily have to install the relay, but it will help to prevent the screen on your P3 from doing goofy things.
Unfortunately we do not yet have a video of the relay being installed, but I have attached a helpful article and some pictures... view full answer...
Hi Jose; the Diode Dynamics C1 Pod LED Hitch Light # DDY37QB may fit, it really depends on the wiring. If the factory wiring is a 7-way there is a good chance it will work. However, you need to make sure you can remove the wiring connector from the back of the plug since some can't be detached. Assuming you can, it should look like the connector in the picture below. As long as these match up you will be able to use this with your 2020 Porsche Cayenne. view full answer...
For your 2016 Porsche Cayenne with a naked roof we have the flush bar Rhino Rack part # RR86MR which is also an aero bar rack but the bar does not extend past the feet of the rack. view full answer...
I checked with Curt and they do list trailer hitch # C13116 as a fit for all models of the 2016 Porsche Cayenne. The all models would include yours as well. There is no trimming of the rear fascia indicated in the installation details, linked for reference, and the hitch receiver should actually be just below it.
Since you can reuse the hitch that you have all you will need is to replace the hardware (since the hardware is all meant to be torqued down once). For that you will need # RHK.... view full answer...
Hey Michael, we don't have any custom fit hitches for your 2018 Porsche Panamera Hybrid but we do have a universal hitch like the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13702.
This hitch will fit frames ranging from 18" to 51" wide, has a class III receiver, and a 5,000 lb weight capacity so it'll be plenty big to haul your bike rack and bikes.
As for an installer goes, I'd suggest using our 'Installer Locator' tool which I've attached to this answer page and enter your ZIP.... view full answer...
Hi Damon; as far as we know you will still need the relay to install the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your 2009 Porsche Cayenne. There isn't a wiring harness that can work around this. However, you will not need to assemble your own wiring harness since you can use the # TK22FR for plug and play. Follow the instructions below from the tech bulletin to add in the relay. Let me know if you need anything else. view full answer...
We do not carry a custom towing mirror for your 2015 Porsche Cayenne. However, the universal K-Source Mirrors # KS3990 will likely fit just fine. They're one of the most universal fits we carry.
They'll fit mirrors from 4-1/2 to 11-1/2 inches tall. I've linked a video for you to look at. view full answer...
The easiest to install trailer hitch for a 2020 Subaru Outback is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT73RR becuase it doesn't require you to remove the rear bumper like all other options do with the concealed design. Furthermore, it's a bolt-on fit and you won't have to do any trimming of the rear bumper like you do for other options so little to no modifications are needed.
If you'll be towing a trailer then you will also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part... view full answer...
I have a solution for you. If you need replacement keys for the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202, the only way to get the exact replacement you need is by providing the 4-character code on the lock core. If you do not have access to the core, the only other option is to replace the cores completely. For new lock cores, I recommend the Thule One-Key System Cylinders # TH450200. With these cores, you will be able to switch out the old ones and have keys for the new ones. view full answer...
The factory tow package on your 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel will have the 7-way you need for the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller - Wireless # C51180. The Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH37FRT for your 2019 Porsche Cayenne has a lower tongue weight rating for the 2" receiver because it was only designed to be used for accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
I don't have a reason why it can't be used for towing other than Stealth Hitches says it isn't tested or rated for that, so their ball mount has to be used for towing.
Are you mainly looking to use this... view full answer...
Yes, we do have the install instructions available for the Stealth hitch part # SH24FRT that you referenced. I attached to this page under the heading "helpful info" for you to check out. This hitch fits the 2016 Porsche Macan GTS. Since you have an S model instead you'd want the # SH84FRT which I've also attached install instructions for. view full answer...
Hey David! As long as your 2019 Porsche Cayenne is the SUV model, and not a GT, you can use the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH37FR (or # SH37FRT if you plan to use it for towing). This has a bolt-on installation and a removable receiver for a completely hidden design. I'm assuming you want a hitch mounted bike rack since you asked for a hitch. Is that correct? Trunk mounted bike racks like the # TH910XT you looked at aren't a fit for your Porsche so there really isn't an option.... view full answer...
