What we have found is that sometimes when installing the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a 2005-Current Porsche Cayenne there are times when the display of the P3 may become erratic. We recommend installing a 12V normally open relay to fix this issue. You don't necessarily have to install the relay, but it will help to prevent the screen on your P3 from doing goofy things.
Unfortunately we do not yet have a video of the relay being installed, but I have attached a helpful article and some pictures... view full answer...
Yes, we do have the install instructions available for the Stealth hitch part # SH24FRT that you referenced. I attached to this page under the heading "helpful info" for you to check out. This hitch fits the 2016 Porsche Macan GTS. Since you have an S model instead you'd want the # SH84FRT which I've also attached install instructions for. view full answer...
The Draw Tite hitch part # 75940 is pretty well hidden as only the hitch opening pokes through the rear fascia. I attached a picture of what it looks like installed to give you an idea. view full answer...
The tech bulletin you mention, which I have linked for reference, pertains to Prodigy installation in the 2005 - 2008 model years of the Porsche Cayenne and the Volkswagen Touareg, and according to my contact at Tekonsha this procedure still applies in the case of your 2013 Cayenne diesel.
You will need to locally source a 12V normally open relay and make the wiring connections as described in the article. You will NOT connect the red wire from the P2 to the connector, but instead will... view full answer...
I contacted the tech support of the manufacturer for some ideas and your are on the right track.
Your 2016 Porsche Cayenne has dedicated wires for each function and also has wires that are multi-function. To get everything to work correctly with the Tekonsha ZCI Vehicle Wiring Harness, Item # 119250KIT, you will need to find dedicated wires for each function (tail, brake, turn, etc.). Unfortunately, there are no "shortcuts" and you will have to continue the "trial and error" testing... view full answer...
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH37FR you were looking at is indeed confirmed to fit your 2019 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid.
You will need to trim a small portion of the underside fascia to give the receiver a location to be exposed. This is not something you will see once it is installed as it is under the vehicle.
This is the only modification required, and is pretty minor.
Keep in mind this rack is only compatible with a bike rack or cargo carrier, and cannot be used with a... view full answer...
I sent an update to have the instructions link for the Stealth hitch part # SH59ZR fixed (they should be up soon) but in meantime the modifications needed to install this hitch are temporary removal of the bumper fascia that will get trimmed before reinstalling as well as trimming of gravel shield. There is no drilling required. view full answer...
You can use your Tekonsha brake controller in your 2014 Porsche Cayenne, however, there are not custom wiring adapters available for the Cayenne, so you will want to splice in a universal harness, # 7894. Installing a brake controller on your Cayenne using the factory brake controller wires can be a little tricky so I attached a help article that explains the installation process in detail. The installation covers all Cayennes from 2005 to present. view full answer...
You are correct, there will be factory holes so no drilling is required when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13136 on your 2018 Porsche Macan. The removal of the battery is required for the 2015-2016 models for drilling so you will not need to remove the battery for your installation.
I have attached an installation video for your reference. view full answer...
To add a 7-way to your 2013 Porsche Cayenne that will allow you to pull a larger trailer and use a brake controller I recommend the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. This is very similar to the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 with the difference being that you will not have to wire the lead from the brake controller to the brake output pin on the 7-way.
This will make installation easier but keep in mind there are only certain brake controllers that the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L will... view full answer...
On the 2015 Porsche Cayenne whether it is a hybrid or gas model there will be a metal bumper structure behind the rear fascia. This is where the hitch installs so it would not interfere with anything forward of that location. I have included a link to the installation instructions for hitch # 75950 which does include some pictures.
I have personally assisted on a hitch install on a Cayenne (since some steps require two people) and once you get down to where the hitch installs on the vehicle... view full answer...
The process for installing the Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver # 75940 on a 2017 Porsche Macan is virtually the same as on an Audi Q5. The instructions, which are linked, list the steps which are identical. The difference is going to be the fascia trimming that is necessary. The instructions do address this separately showing pictures of the area that needs to be trimmed on a Porsche as well as an Audi.
The video we have, that I've also linked for you, is the hitch being installed on a 2016... view full answer...
For the tubular and semi-tubular rivets like what comes with this kit you would need a rivet clincher tool available at hardware stores and some auto parts stores could have a selection as well.
It will be a matter of putting the spring on the shaft pushing the shaft up from the underside of the coupler and then riveting the shaft to the latch with the included rivet. The hole in the shaft of the pin is for attaching it to the latch. view full answer...
The rear fascia will have to come off of your 2011 Porsche Cayenne to install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75950 or any of the trailer hitches for the vehicle. The hitches will also pretty much take the place of the bumper beam. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view so you can see what all is involved in the installation.

When installing the # SH37FR on a 2019 Porsche Cayenne, there will be enough slack in the wiring harness mentioned in step # 14 of the instructions so that the hitch can be slid into place. The procedure for removing the hatch/trunk release cable from the clips that hold it is simple, all you'll need to do is gently tug on the cable at each clip and it'll come free. The portion of the fascia where the clips are is trimmed away, so you'll use the six provided mounting bases to reattach the... view full answer...
Trailer connector # HM40975 that you purchased is meant as a replacement for a 2014 Porsche Cayenne that came with a factory 7-Way trailer connector. If yours did not then it will have to be hardwired in.
The first part you will need is harness # PK11998 which plugs into the back of connector # HM40975. Next, you will need to install a wiring converter, # C59496, which hardwires into the tail light wiring on the vehicle.
Then, after the # C59496 is installed you will cut off the 4-Way... view full answer...
Bearing Buddies give you a similar option to your EZ Lube axles, but they take it one step further to provide a better seal to keep water out. They move the grease hub out further to better protect your hub and bearings and then add the rubber cap that goes over the assembly so you can have the hubs completely submerged without any issues. This partially accomplished by maintaining a slight controls pressure of 3 psi with spring-loaded piston that prevents water from entering hub. Unfortunately,... view full answer...
There are a few installation notes regarding Curt Trailer Hitch # C13136 on a 2018 Porsche Macan. The trunk pan cover, which is underneath the car, is going to need to be removed to install the hitch. There will also be some minor fascia trimming, as you can see by the accompanying cut out of the installation instructions I added for you.
I have added a link to the installation manual for you to take a look at as well which has all of the required steps needed to install the # C13136 hitch... view full answer...
Stage 4 of CTEK chargers is the absorption phase, this is a slow process on purpose so that the battery gets a diminished charge to top the battery off in the best way possible. This phase helps the battery hold the charge that it has by not overcharging. It sounds like yours is most likely operating like normal so maybe give it a day or so and see if charging progresses beyond stage 4. I have a couple CTEK chargers and have noticed the same thing. But once the charge is complete I noticed... view full answer...
I attached a couple pictures that I took from the install instructions for the part # 75950 that you referenced.
According to the instructions the only fascia trimming that would be required would be if you installed the hitch on a Touareg. view full answer...
