Hello David, thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you are on the right track here. Both the Curt # C25FV (13568) and # C74MJ (13627) will fit all models of the 2024 CX-90 and this includes the PHEV plug-in hybrid model. This is actually a rare case where Curt offers two different hitches for the same make and model of vehicle. They both have the same weight capacity so the only real difference is now then install. The # C74MJ uses just four bolts that thread into existing weldnuts on the... view full answer...
Hey Mark, officially I have to recommend you do not use a vertical bike rack with the Curt hitch part # C33MJ even though you said you'd be at only about half it's tongue weight capacity. The issue is the vertical racks put quite a bit more leverage on the hitch since they hold the bikes so high.
For what it's worth the Draw Tite hitch part # DT67YR that fits your CX-50 does not have this same exclusion so it could be used instead. view full answer...
The difference between the Class II and Class III hitches has to do with their Gross Trailer Weight (GTW), their Tongue Weight (TW), and their Hitch Receiver Size. Class II trailer hitch receivers have a 1-1/4 inch receiver and can be rated up to 3,500 lbs in GTW and up to 525 lbs in TW. Class III, on the other hand, have a 2 inch receiver and have up to 8,000 lbs GTW and 800 lbs TW. I will attach a help article that goes in to more detail for you.
A good example of a Class II hitch that... view full answer...
Hey Mike, so I checked with Curt and their hitch part number 13630 which is our part number # C33MJ does fit the 2025 Mazda CX-50 hybrid. Curt says this actually fits all models of the vehicle actually. What are you planning on using the hitch for? view full answer...
Hello Ric, thanks for reaching out. The only hitch we have confirmed to fit the 2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid is the Curt # C33MJ. We have confirmed with Curt that this will fit the Hybrid model. We have also heard back from a few of our own customers who have successfully installed it on the Hybrid model. This hitch has a 2" receiver and a 3,500 lb towing capacity.
If you intend to tow a trailer, you will also need the Curt T-Connector # C45FV.
Do you already have a ball mount and ball? Or... view full answer...
Absolutely!
Starting with the trailer hitch for your 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback, the Curt Hitch # C98BR will work perfectly. This will line right up to existing holes in the frame rails for a simple bolt-on (no-drill) installation and features a 200 pound tongue weight capacity.
I have attached the written installation manual below that you can look through as well. All the necessary hardware is included.
Then for a Class I rated bike rack I highly recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU74FR.... view full answer...
Actually, the correct hitch for the sedan model of the 2019 Mazda 3 is part # 24982 instead of part # 24914. It's also a 1-1/4 inch Class I hitch like the first Draw-Tite you mentioned.
I've attached a picture that shows it installed for you. As well as a link to the install details view full answer...
Hi Barbara!
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C33MJ will indeed fit your 2026 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid. It actually fits all version of CX-50 for this model year, so you are definitely good to go with it. Even with the PP, which I assume stands for Premium Package? If it's something else, just let me know.
There is a little bit of fascia trimming to get this hitch installed, but it will look like a factory hitch once finished. I included an image of a 26 CX-50... view full answer...

I have a brake controller recommendation but at this time it doesn't look like we (or our manufacturers) have any information or at least an adapter harness to fit with the wiring you have under the dashboard on your 2023 Mazda CX-50.
I recommend checking out the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR for your application because the only part of the controller that will be visible is the small control knob - this not only gives... view full answer...
Hey Linda, because of how heavy e-bikes are there aren't any trunk mounted e-bike racks available. You would have to install a hitch on your 2016 Mazda CX-5 like the part # e98902 so that you could use an e-bike rack like Hollywood Racks Destination part # HLY66ZR.
The extra weight of an e-bike would just be too much panels of a vehicle which is why they don't make any like that.

On your 2020 Mazda CX-5, you have enough crossbar spread for the required 24-32 inches of the Yakima RocketBox Pro # Y07192. Also, according to your attached photo, you have the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars like the # TH711400 installed. With these crossbars, the RocketBox will be able to attach to your crossbars. In addition, since you have a measurement of 54 inches from the center of your front crossbar to the line where the roof and hatch meet, you have enough space to fully open your... view full answer...
That's a great question Richard and thanks for the kind words! It's an error that I'll get someone to check on. Our etrailer Hitch item # e98902 is going to have the same installation process and difficulty as the Curt item # C13315.
You've got a good eye. The Curt item # C13315 and our etrailer item # e98902 hitches are indeed made at the same factory. Curt makes our house brand hitches for us so the hitch, hardware, and fish tools are identical with the exception of the matte finish... view full answer...
To use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 your vehicle only needs 12 volt, ground, and turn signals connected to its 7-way socket. What this means is you do not need the brake signal from the 7-way.
For example, if you used a 4-to-7 way adapter such as # 30717, there will not be an output wire from the Echo to connect to, so you could simply tie that wire off, as you can see by the accompanying diagram.
Apart from that the only other thing required is that your... view full answer...
Hey Ben, the MORryde Easy Reel Spooler # MR47RR that you referenced is not designed to be used like that unfortunately. You would put one end of the cord into the middle of the spool and then reel it all up when not in use. What that means is that you can't access the other end at all if it's on the reel so it has to totally come off of it. view full answer...
I can absolutely confirm for you that the Yakima FullBack trunk-mounted bike rack will fit your 2020 Mazda CX-30.
I confirmed with Yakima that both the 2-bike and 3-bike versions are a fit for your 2020 CX-30:
- Yakima FullBack 2-Bike Rack # Y02634
- Yakima FullBack 3-Bike Rack # Y02633

I do have a couple options for you but Class I hitches like the Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame part # 24773 that fits the 2008 Mazda 5 are designed to only carry 2 bikes because of it's limited tongue weight rating. The weight of the bikes and bike rack is all considered tongue weight on the hitch and putting 4 bikes on a rack in a Class I hitch would create too much leverage and possibly damage the hitch or vehicle. With that being said, I recommend to get a 2 bike rack for the Class I... view full answer...
Hi Peter!
The previous 2025 CX-50 hitch from Curt (the # C33MJ) fit both gas and hybrid models, so I would be willing to bet pretty good money that the new Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" - Preorder # C96UB will as well. Now with that being said, I can't say that with 100% certainty, but I think it's a pretty good bet.

The seal we offer part # RG06-050 that you mentioned cross references as the same thing as a Transcom part 171255TB.
It would be the exact same as what you have/need. view full answer...
When we installed the Draw Tite hitch part # 76020 on a 2016 Mazda CX-9 we found that there was a distance of 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper.
We used to carry the Yakima SwingDaddy that you mentioned and it had a distance of 6 inches from it's pin hole to the back of the knob for the swing mechanism. So you'd most likely have some contact there.
The other hitch that fits your vehicle, the Curt # C13284 has the exact same... view full answer...
