The easiest solution would be to add a junction box like with the part # 277-000141 to your trailer wiring for the install of the Autowbrake part # 3430001. While it does require cutting the 7-way wiring it will give you an easy way to install the brake controller plus gives you the benefits of having a junction box. When installing the Mount-n-Lock Heavy-Haul'r Standard Duty Replacement RV Bumper - 4.0" - 500 lbs - Mill # MNT78VR it doesn't really matter where they are installed whether it's high, medium, or low just as long as all 4 bolt holes in the brackets are mounted to the frame, and the weight is distributed. Yes, you can use the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution # BLU36FR with an extended shank, and for that I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4600 which measures 14" from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the adjustment holes for the ball mount section.
