The plug you found at the back of your 2024 Cadillac XT4 should match up with the Curt T-Connector # C44FR and will only show power when the running lights are on, the turn signals are used, or you are pressing the brake pedal. If you're testing it without using any of those functions on your vehicle then that would explain why you aren't seeing power at that connector.
If you did use those functions and you didn't see power then the next thing to check are the fuses related to the trailer... view full answer...
The 2009 and 2011 model years of the Cadillac SRX are not within the same generation and so their hitch fits are not the same. The 04-09 model years were the first generation, while 2010 and later model years are within the second generation. Links to hitches for both cars are included.
You'll note that both 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III hitches are available for both cars. In general we recommend going with the 2-inch option because it will have a higher towing capacity, more... view full answer...
I do have an option for you but the Rack'em Heavy Duty Stake Pocket for Flatbed Truck or Trailer part # PK-BSP does require the stake to be tapered at the bottom. I recommend CE Smith Stake Pocket for Flatbed Truck or Trailer - Galvanized Steel part # CE45004G which will accommodate a standard 2 x 4 which commonly measures 1-1/2" x 3-1/2". I have attached a diagram for your reference. view full answer...
I have a solution for you, but there isn't an adapter available that would allow you to connect your 4 inch sewer hose to the smaller macerator hose to create an extension. The macerator hose ends aren't threaded; they are held in place with a metal clamp instead.
We do have longer macerator hoses that can either be used as an extension, or replace the original 10 foot long macerator hose that is included in the SewerSolution Macerator System for RV Waste Tanks # SS01.
For a 25 foot long... view full answer...
The correct Konig Self-Tensioning Tire Chains for a 2014 Subaru Legacy with P225/50R17 tires is part # TH00023100. These chains have a self tensioning mechanism to maintain the correct level of tightness, nylon bumpers to protect the vehicle's wheels, and a class s rating for the best clearance. They will need to be installed on the front tires only.
Please note, the owner's manual may have other stipulations for using tire chains you'll want to review before use. view full answer...
To flat tow a 2013 Cadillac SRX you will not have to pull any fuses. You will however need a tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables to go along with your tow bar and base plates. If you haven't ordered these already then I have the following recommendations for you:
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will allow you to use your Cadillac SRX's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your... view full answer...
Sure thing, and there are a number of other parts you'll need to flat tow your 2023 Cadillac Escalade with your Blue Ox Apollo Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7470.
Those parts include base plates, wiring, a battery disconnect, and a supplemental braking system. Please note there are differences in some parts depending on if your '23 Escalade has a gas or diesel engine, and also that base plates only fit 4WD models (there are no fits for 2WD models). I'll go ahead and list the parts out for you... view full answer...
For the Escalade with a 275/50R22 tire size you'll need the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains # KON24FR. Unfortunately we don't currently have a compatible fitting K-Summit tire chain set for the Ram so the closest option would be the Konig Tire Chains # KON74FR. view full answer...
The TST TPMS System # TST-507-RV-4-C can be used to monitor 14 tires. This system can support up to 38 tires total. The monitor will allow you to cycle thru all 14 tires. You will need to purchase additional sensors, as this kit only comes with 4. Additional sensors are sold in a 4 pack # TST-507-RV-S4 or a 2 pack # TST-507-RV-S2. view full answer...
I pulled up the owners manual of your 2018 Cadillac XT5 online and found that to tow it on a dolly like the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 you'd need to put the vehicle in park. You can see the full process on page 318 of your manual but the other key step is to disconnect the negative side of the battery as well. view full answer...
The location and visibility of a trailer hitch on your 2010 Cadillac CTS will be almost identical between Curt, # C11307 and Draw-Tite, # 24767. Each of these trailer hitches use the same mounting location and have practically the same dimensions. For an exact measurement, the end of the receiver from the Curt hitch will actually sit 1/8 of an inch closer to the rear edge of the bumper.
As far as aesthetics are concerned, I agree that the Curt hitch has a more pleasing design. We have... view full answer...
A trailer hitch from a 2013 Cadillac SRX will not fit your 2018 Cadillac XT5, which means you will need a new hitch.
The hitch I recommend for your 2018 Cadillac XT5 is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e62AR.
I like this hitch above the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13285 because the Draw-Tite has slightly better ground clearance than the Curt, which is important to keep things like accessories from hitting the ground. I have added a photo showing with this hitch looks like on a 2018 XT5... view full answer...
Yes, we do have parts that'll fit your 2018 Cadillac CTS to tow a trailer. From what I've found your car has a maximum capacity of 1,000 pounds tops. You didn't mention the size or weight of the trailer but just make sure you stay within this limitation. I also recommend checking your owner's manual just to verify the number.
To fit the Cadillac you want the Curt hitch # C11900. It's a custom fit for the Cadillac and also has a concealed cross tube so you won't be messing with the... view full answer...
I do have a universal towing mirror option that may work for you but unfortunately we have not had a chance to confirm the fitment of one on your 2015 Cadillac Escalade yet. The towing mirrors for a 2015 GMC Yukon will not work.
The best option I have for you is the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror part # KS3891. The K-Source Universal Towing Mirror is designed to work with factory side mirrors that are between 4-1/2"-11-1/2" tall. As long as your factory side mirrors fall between this... view full answer...
The SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 is compatible with your 2016 Cadillac SRX. However, as you mentioned the stop light circuit on this vehicle will go dead while in tow mode. Therefore, in order to power the monitor light you will need to run the red wire from this to the blue wire that goes between the breakaway switch and the operating unit.
I have attached a diagram to help with this as well. view full answer...
Thanks for the pictures! I have a solution for you but there is a couple of issues with using the Inno Tire Hold bike rack. The hitch pin hole on the etrailer item # e62AR hitch for your 2017 Cadillac XT5 sits pretty far back from the edge of your bumper at 6". I would not recommend using the Inno Tire Hold Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches item # INH110 because of the lack of clearance. The distance from the hitch pin hole to the closest point on the carrier is 6" so you will... view full answer...
Since you don't want to do an axle flip kit the only solution I have for lifting a standard round axle trailer is the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit item # RR23QX you were looking at. This kit mounts to your spring hangers and moves the attachment point down 1-1/4" or 2-1/4" lifting your trailer's ride height up a corresponding amount.
If you have a torsion axle then depending on what number you have there may be lifting blocks. A torsion axle is a square axle with built... view full answer...
I have the perfect brake controller for your 2011 Cadillac Escalade in the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195. Unfortunately, they do not make a plug in adapter for your vehicle therefore, you will want to hardwire the included wiring harness into the your vehicle's factory wiring harness.
To do this, you will only have to connect 4 wires. The black wire from the back of the brake controllers wiring harness will need to be attach to a 12-volt power circuit, the... view full answer...
