The plug you found at the back of your 2024 Cadillac XT4 should match up with the Curt T-Connector # C44FR and will only show power when the running lights are on, the turn signals are used, or you are pressing the brake pedal. If you're testing it without using any of those functions on your vehicle then that would explain why you aren't seeing power at that connector.
If you did use those functions and you didn't see power then the next thing to check are the fuses related to the trailer... view full answer...
We have lift kits for trailer that easily add 2 inches to the height of the trailer. For that you'd want the part # RR23QX and you'd be set. I attached a picture that shows how it installs to give you an idea. This would be the easiest solution to your situation. view full answer...
The Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 # RM-422 comes with just the tow bar, although one feature it does have is cable guides to protect your safety cables and wiring. The Blackhawk 2 has a shipping weight of 64 lbs, so its weight will pretty close to that.
The comparison between the Blackhack 2 and the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain # RM-677 is the Blackhawk 2 has a weight capacity of 10,000 lbs, the Nighthawk 8,000 lbs: the Blackhawk 2 is made of steel and the Nighthawk is made of aluminum. The... view full answer...
Hey David, thanks for all of the info - I'd be more than happy to help you choose a WDH!
For your application I recommend using the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW0750 which has a tongue weight range of 550 lbs - 750 lbs and uses chains for sway control so they won't be as aggressive as the straight torsion bars.
I know this initially sounds like overkill for the weights that you referenced, but you'll actually need to adjust some thing around inside your trailer prior to installing the SwayPro.... view full answer...
Hi Howard; if this was originally the 2-bike # KU84FR all you need to do is remove the add on # KU57FR to convert it back. If it was originally the 3-bike version # KU24FR you will remove the cradle and hook arm but the arms they attach to will remain extended out as they are now. There are no special instructions or other info you should need to make the conversion. view full answer...
For vehicles with auto-leveling suspension the proper setup procedure for weight distribution is to put the full tongue weight on the trailer hitch to activate the vehicle's auto-level function and then from there go through the setup procedure for the weight distribution system. view full answer...
Hey Eric, it's great to hear from you again!
If you're having trouble opening the rear hatch on your 2019 Cadillac Escalade with the Lippert Smart Jack # LC643589 installed on your trailer then you can try to unbolt the jack and turn it to see if that helps with clearance, but I'm not too confident that will give you the clearance you're needing.
Aside from swapping out the jack to something with a smaller profile, I'm afraid the only solution for you would be to avoid getting into the... view full answer...
The transmission cooler part # D13504 would be exactly what you need. This is a large cooler that would work well for your 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. I attached an install video that shows it being installed in a very similar 2009 Yukon as yours.
Your engine temperature doesn't really seem that bad at all. But the transmission cooler will help slightly with that since it will allow the factory transmission cooler to run cooler as well which is connected to the radiator. Also the transmission... view full answer...
Hey Matthew, thanks for reaching out!
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR should only be showing solid red when you press and hold the control knob to show that you're using the manual override operation. Since it sounds like this isn't working correctly, I recommend verifying that all of your wiring is connected to the correct functions, and that the manual override will activate your trailer brakes.
I see that you used the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # 331-TPH-010... view full answer...
Hey Jeff!
Curts calls out the following tools for installing the Hitch # C82WR on your 2025 Cadillac XT6:
- Torque wrench
- T15 Torx bit
- 7mm and 15mm Sockets
- Flathead screwdriver
- Wrench
Since you'll be removing the rear fascia for this installation, I also recommend picking up the Composite Trim Removal Tool Kit # PT73HJ and some painters tape so you can avoid scratching up your vehicle. Check out the linked video for a step-by-step tutorial on how to get the hitch in place!

If the trailer hitch on your vehicle is a Class II hitch, there is a rack specifically designed for use with a three wheel bike. Check out the Hollywood Sport Rider, part # HR1000Z-R-TRKADP. This rack will work with Delta or Tadpole style trike frames. view full answer...
Hello Derek, thanks for reaching out. Are you trying to set up a charge line for flat towing purposes? If so, yes you can run a power wire from the RV battery to the RV 7-way. Then what you do is add a 6-pin plug to the front of the towed vehicle, then run a wire from the 6-pin plug to the towed battery. We sell kits for the RV side and the towed side. Here is what I recommend:
- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75
- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed... view full answer...
Hey Tim, we have a front hitch that fits your 2004 Cadillac Escalade with the Curt part # 31302 which would work great but the Draw Tite you mentioned would not work as it does not fit. view full answer...
Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out!
I have 2 different options for you to look at, and it really just depends on what style you're looking for:
The Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights # TL21RK are wired and will work with your 7-Way if you use the Pollak Adapter # PK12716.
For a wireless option we have the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light # LIW-LDTL-7B which plugs in without the adapter and obviously doesn't require you to run wiring along your vehicle and make sure it isn't blowing around... view full answer...
The 2009 and 2011 model years of the Cadillac SRX are not within the same generation and so their hitch fits are not the same. The 04-09 model years were the first generation, while 2010 and later model years are within the second generation. Links to hitches for both cars are included.
You'll note that both 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III hitches are available for both cars. In general we recommend going with the 2-inch option because it will have a higher towing capacity, more... view full answer...
Hello Steve, thanks for reaching out. I double checked with WeatherTech and unfortunately they do not make a bug deflector for the 2025 Cadillac XT4. The most recent model year they make one for is the 2023. So there is nothing for the 2024 or 2025 models at this time. Looks like our listing needs to be edited. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and sorry I don't have better news for you. view full answer...
Hello Dan, thanks for reaching out. We do carry the EcoHitch Class 3 Hitch # EH75KR which is a fit for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury 3. I am sorry to say that we do not have a PDF of the instructions that I can send you. They only exist in paper form as far as I know. That said, I can still provide some information that will be helpful. This hitch install will be pretty involved. You will be temporarily removing the rear bumper and permanently removing the impact structure behind the bumper.... view full answer...
Good morning, Rich. I do have one resource which you should find helpful. I am sorry to say that at this time we do not have any pictures of videos of the Curt # C62ZV hitch being installed on a Cadillac Lyriq. Reason being we have not had this vehicle in at our shop yet, so no chance to actually install one.
The best resource we can provide is the manufacturer instructions for the Curt # C62ZV hitch. I have linked the instructions for you below. They have a few pictures in there, along... view full answer...
