I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and Tow Ready and I believe that I can help you locate a place to attach the brake controller red wire on your 2012 Cadillac SRX. The vehicle does have a dedicated stop light circuit located in the BCM (body control module).

When installing a proportional brake controller, like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, the wiring (or connector) that you will need to connect to is typically under the driver side dash as you found. If your 2007 Cadillac Escalade has a factory 7 pole plug, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional Item # RED44FR can be wire directly into the factory wiring located under the dash, just to the left of the steering column. The wiring may be taped up to other wiring. The wiring you are looking for will be 4 wires with taped ends. Red, Black, White, Light Blue with a White stripe.

When installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e62AR, which is confirmed to fit your 2018 Cadillac XT5, you will want to use the included pull wire to feed the carriage bolts and spacers into the frame rails. The Curt trailer hitch for your 2019 Cadillac XT4, part # C39FR, actually installs on the same existing studs and with the same hardware that the factory bumper beam uses. During the installation the bumper beam is removed and the hitch fits over the studs. Then you reinstall the bumper beam over the hitch and fasten them both with the same M10 nuts that you would have removed to take off the bumper beam. So, there are no holes to drill into the Cadillac's frame.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade was available both with and without a factory tow package. A dealership may be able to run the vehicle VIN in their computer system to see how it is equipped. If it does have the factory tow package then you would use harness # 3016 to plug in the P2 brake controller # 90885.

There isn't a trick to removing the cap on the tow plug of your 2019 Cadillac XT5 to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56325.

The Wheel Rim Clamp # 15-2 that you referenced will install with the lip towards the inside of the hub on the other side of the nut that holds it in place. The angled portion of the clamp sits outside of the wheel and it will tighten up against it as you turn the nut.

I spoke with my contact at Hopkins regarding your newly installed Impulse model 47235 brake controller and he said that on this particular unit there won't be any lights when stepping on the brake controller if you're not hooked up to a trailer. He did mention, like you did, that on previous generation controllers there would be a light or number displayed when applying the brakes whether connected to a trailer nor not but that is not the case with the Impulse.

The brake controller connection is in the same spot as found in the Suburban or the GM full sized trucks of that generation. It's located in a junction box behind and to the right of the emergency brake pedal. You'll need to remove the cover, and plug the connector into the socket shown in the provided photo.

You actually need to connect some wiring to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 on your 2013 Cadillac Escalade as there are no plug-in connectors.
There is some wiring though which is located near the data link connector so you'll need to connect them to the following wires on the P2:
Dark Blue - Blue (P2)
Red/Black - Black (P2)
Light Blue/White - Red (P2)
White - White

Yes, once the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76266 is installed on your 2022 Cadillac XT4 you'll be able to place that rear bumper fascia cover back over it for an OEM look.

Probably the easiest way to get to the wires to install the trailer wiring harness # C59496 is to pretend as if you were going to have to change out a tail light bulb (or LED panels or bulbs). There is a process to follow to access them.
