We do have a wiring kit available for your 2026 BMW X5 with the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # C56190KIT, but the Draw-Tite hitch 76908 does not have one that specifically has to go with it. Just keep in mind this is not a plug and play system, so it will need to be hardwired into your Beamer. It does not look like anyone has a plug and play option yet, but that may change in the future.

The wiring kit for the 2025 model should be a passive harness meaning no programing is needed, but you do have to run a wire to the vehicle battery to power the module. You do need to wire directly to the battery. Using an alternative power source is not recommended.

Hey Paul! Fine-link and Class S actually go hand in hand. What that is basically saying in the owner's manual is you have limited clearance and you're going to need Class S compatible tire chains so you don't tear up your BMW. This is pretty common for an SUV like the X5. European manufacturers say "fine-link" to describe low profile, and Class S compatibility is the U.S. clearance standard for restricted space vehicles which equates to low profile tire chains.

After looking through our inventory as well as multiple manufacturers, I can confirm there is not a wiring kit available specifically for the 2011 BMW X5 available. The trailer hitch that you'll need to use for your 2020 BMW X5 is the Draw-Tite # 76288. It is currently (as of November 2019) the only trailer hitch fit available for your X5 (excluding the M performance model) but it is still an excellent option because it has the larger 2" receiver and features a hidden cross tube. Adding SumoSprings are definitely one way to help absorb road shock, smooth out the suspension and protect the trailer and its contents. I'd recommend those, and also an upgraded HD shackle/wet bolt kit. I'm not sure if your camper came from the factory with wet bolts, but if not, that is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. We have better options because leveling jacks like the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979006 shouldn't be used to raise a vehicle. They're only for stabilizing despite their weight capacity.
Instead you want something like the Powerbuilt bottle jack, part # ALL640405. It has plenty of capacity at 4,000 pounds and is for raising a vehicle like your X5 to change a tire. It's also pretty compact and not very expensive.
