I like the look, and really easy to install, just make sure you do not strip much off the wire so you can put it through the hole under the screw, so as to not have any extra wire sticking out because they are really close. 706499

A similar trailer light connector was installed on my motorcycle cargo trailer when I purchased it way back in 2003. When I purchased my new Gold Wing in 2019, I wanted to use the same type of connector. Since I had to add a new female connector to the bike, I decided to renew the male connector on the trailer. I especially like this connector because it always stays secure when connected. I also wanted the connections to be out of sight when not in use. I have pulled my trailer with this new connection for over 2,500 miles and it has performed great. 797758

Wanted to use this plug as the bike and trailer both had them. This was to replace damaged trailer plug. One tube inside the plug was stripped the first time I tried it. The "mechanics" of the plug dictate that only a short bit of wire goes into the tube, to be held in place by a tiny screw. And one was stripped to begin with. I ended up lopping the plug off and going with the 5 pin flat plug. I wouldn't bother trying this plug if a flat connector would work in your application. 677180

Mounted Pollak sockets to left saddle bag of 2018 Can Am Spyder RT for removal of "pigtail" extension to CSC trailer when not in use. This will eliminate any possible damage to hook up wiring and gives much "cleaner" look to hitch installation. I looked everywhere for these sockets, online & three auto parts for what I wanted and only etrailer.com had them and also the lowest price. Could not ask for more, arrived in 3 days, customer service follow up and answered my email technical question within 24 hours. Bookmark them and use on all your trailer needs. I have 4 trailers and do my own work. 659733

  • Parts Needed to Connect a 5-Pole, Round Connector to a 4-Way Flat Connection
You could put together an adapter using part # PK11501 and part # 18172 for the 5 pin round/4-Way Flat connection that you need. For the 2 female - 5 pin round connectors, you'll need part # PK11502 This 5-pole socket will connect your trailer to tow vehicle. The female/male terminology can be a bit confusing because of the pins in this connector. Part # PK11502 is actually an industry standard female connector because part # PK11501 plugs into it. I have also attached a link...

  • Adapting 5-Way Round to 4-Way Flat for a Motorcycle
The 5-Way on your Harley might actually have separate circuits each for brake lights, left turn signal, and right turn signal. A 4-Way will have the brake lights and turn signals on the same circuits. To tow a trailer that has combined wiring with a motorcycle that has separate wiring I recommend converting the Harley connector to match the other bike and the trailer. All you will need is a converter, # 119178. On the input side you will connect the wires from the bike's 5-Way. The...

There is no standard diagram for the 5 way round connector, item # PK11501. You will need to use a circuit tester, item # 40376, to test the wires and wire the vehicle and trailer to match. When wiring, your green wire will be right turn/brake, the yellow wire will be left turn/brake, the brown wire will be the taillights, and the white wire will be the ground. From there, you can wire the remaining pole to any function you like such as power for trailer accessories, electric brakes,...

  • Lighting Converter for Motorcycle Towing 4-Pole Trailer
We do not have any trailer wiring adapter that converts the 5-pin round format on your motorcycle to a 4-pole flat type.
