There is no standard diagram for the 5-way round connector, item # PK11501. You will need to use a circuit tester, item # PTW2993, to test the wires and wire the vehicle and trailer to match. When wiring, your green wire will be right turn/brake, the yellow wire will be left turn/brake, the brown wire will be the taillights, and the white wire will be the ground. From there, you can wire the remaining pole to any function you like such as power for trailer accessories, electric brakes, or for a reverse brake lockout on trailers with surge/hydraulic brakes.
LOCATE WIRES BY FUNCTION ONLY
White wire . . . . Attach to good ground
Yellow wire . . . Attach to left turn
Green wire . . . Attach to right turn
Brown wire . . . Attach to the taillight
Blue wire . . . . . Attach to backup / reverse
Additional items you may need would be quick splices, like part # SWC501915-1, and electrical tape. Liquid electrical tape, our part # SWC50122, works very well to seal the back of the plug once you have made the appropriate wire connections.
