Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Airbag Suspension Kit for your rear axle. It has a 5,000-pound load leveling capacity. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2013 and newer Ram ProMaster 1500 and 2500 and 3500 trucks. Works with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive models.
And because it's a custom fit part, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the Fit Guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, the factory suspension can struggle under rear wheel loads. So if you're delivering cargo, towing a trailer or building out a full van conversion, these Alpha HD Air Springs are going to add up to 5,000 pounds of rear support. This will help keep your ProMaster level and composed when the weight adds up, so there's no more dragging rear end, sloppy cornering or your headlight glare. It'll blind oncoming traffic.

The powder coated steel brackets we mentioned helps fight back rust, road salt, and rough seasons. And also if it's bitter cold, scorching heat or mud slick trails, this system is made to outlast whatever the road dishes out. Now this kit is designed with do-it yourselfers in mind, the precision brackets we mentioned, they're designed to bolt to existing mounting points with no drilling and all the components will come pre-cut, ready to install. The manual inflation valves, they'll mount easily through the rear bumper or your license plate bracket, and there is no complicated wiring or air tools that are required. This is just a straightforward upgrade that you can knock out in a few hours. And whether you're keeping it simple or planning a full onboard air system, this kit will work with your setup. good product , good strong solid metal parts and heavy bags. The instructions were not so hot but was easy to figure out and quick delivery !
Easy install. Will pull trailer 3000 miles on vacation and see how it performs to Montana on highways and Forest Service roads.
Where to start I have 1500 pounds of tools in my 150 Chevy had them installed and it totally changed the ride and handling of the truck haven’t pulled anything yet but I’m amazed on how different the truck is already I Baught the ones with the bump stops in them the HD ones

My experience with loading my truck and seeing the difference with these air bags from PacBrake, it does look way better and the truck feels a bit more stable running atspeed limit (65mph) after that it does feels jumpy if you go over potholes, but overall I'm happy with the product, thanks Etrailer,
2020 Ram 1500.
Installation is fidgety with lining everything together for the upper bracket with u-bolt(reason for 4 stars), but still preferred over cutting the bump stop mounts off. Replaced the Timbrens with this and it is night and day difference in ride quality both unloaded and towing.
Would purchase again.
Product is well constructed and installation is straightforward. But you cannot build the kit and slip it in, you have to leave the top bracket off and install it after setting the lower bracket and air bag in place. I will note, I was working off jack stands and a floor jack, not on a lift.
