Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this RoadActive suspension custom leaf spring enhancement kit. Now this kit has been specifically designed to fit your 1973 to 1983 Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, and F-350. Then your 1984 to 1991 F-150, F-250, and F-350. Then your 1992 to 2002 F-150.

And then your 1997 to 1999 F-150 and 250 Light Duty. Now in custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for your vehicle or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So when towing or hauling a heavy load, you may encounter a number of problems that can make your driving experience difficult or dangerous, such as sway, body roll, and bottoming out. When your vehicle is weighed down, your factory leaf springs can't counteract those problems to the extent that they're supposed to.

The weight will overpower the leaf springs and cause them to twist or flatten out. So when that happens, they can't support level or stabilize your truck effectively. Additionally, because your factory leaf springs are passive, they won't begin to tackle problems such as sway until those problems have already started. So this kit will convert your truck's factory leaf springs into a mechanically active suspension system. It will actively strengthen the leaf springs for improved ride quality with or without a load.

And this all-in-one suspension system will improve stability, handling, and control. It's going to eliminate axle wrap, wheel hop, and bottoming out. It will reduce dangerous sway and body roll when you're cornering. And it will even keep your ride level when you're towing or hauling a heavy load, improving your traction while breaking and accelerating. It does use the variable-rated coil tension springs, which will automatically adjust to your vehicle's load.

They activate immediately to support the extra weight and then they'll disengage when unloaded, allowing your leaf springs to perform as they're intended. They can be adjusted during installation to accommodate your towing or hauling needs. They are independently adjustable for side to side leveling of any off-center loads. And these will help extend the life of your leaf springs. Also, your shock absorbers, shackles, and even your tires. These are made here in the USA. They're constructed of durable epoxy coated, epoxy e-coated steel rather. And then the corrosion-resistant brackets on the ends of each of these are going to have a salt spray rating of more than 800 hours. This is going to be an easy bolt-on installation. You're not gonna have to worry about drilling, cutting, or welding. And I have a few pictures there, hopefully giving you an idea of how these are going to install on your truck. These are going to secure under the leaf spring and around the factory U-bolts. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of what the installation's going to look like once they're installed. These are going to arrive in the box just as you see them laid out here on my table. They're gonna be fully assembled. The hardware's included. They're maintenance-free. And adjustments and monitoring aren't going to be needed once they're installed. Now the weight capacity on these is 2,000 pounds. However, an important note to remember is that this kit does not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you do not exceed your truck manufacturer's recommended weight limit or capacity. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today.
