Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Hellwig EZ 990 Helper Springs. Now, these helper springs are designed to fit your 1999 to 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Then your 2001 to 2006 GMCC Sierra 1500 LD. And then your Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD.

And then finally, your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 LD. And your Chevrolet Silverado Classic 1500 LD. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, these custom helper springs with a load leveling capacity of 2000 pounds are going to upgrade the factory leaf springs on your truck, installing above your truck's rear factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll, while preventing sagging when towing or hauling your light lighter loads.

Now, they will extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes. And these springs will flex with your leaf springs to limit bouncing, while providing optimal stability. These U-bolts that you see here on the side, they can be adjusted to suit different loads, and the drivers and passenger sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. So if you have those type of leaf springs on your truck, this will not be compatible with that. Again, the weight capacity is 2000 pounds.
