Video Transcript for Checking Out the Bauer Products T-Handle Lock for Truck Caps

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a quick look at this Bauer Products T-handle lock for your truck caps. This locking T-handle is going to replace one broken or damaged handle on your truck cap or camper shell. This does rotate clockwise. So it is gonna be great on your passenger side if you have a dual-lock cap, or it can work in the center if you have a single-lock cap.

You can see this does have a blind-mount design. So it's gonna install flush, with the mounting hardware remaining hidden inside the locked cap. So you just insert that hardware from behind. It will give you that nice clean look on the outside there. This is made of a die-cast zinc construction.

So it's gonna be extremely durable, built to last, will do a good job for you. It feels very heavy duty in my hand, definitely very solid. You can see it does have a nice black gloss color to it. So it should look really nice on your cap or camper shell. As far as our dimensions go, this is right at 3 1/2 inches in total width.

Our length is roughly four inches. Our shaft is gonna be two inches long and about 5/16 of an inch in diameter. The distance between our mounting holes here is going to be roughly 1 1/2 inches from center to center. We are gonna get two keys included so that we can be sure to lock that up, so no one can come along and open our cap or camper shell.
