Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a quick look at this Bauer Products T-handle lock for your truck caps. This locking T-handle is going to replace one broken or damaged handle on your truck cap or camper shell. This does rotate clockwise. So it is gonna be great on your passenger side if you have a dual-lock cap, or it can work in the center if you have a single-lock cap.
You can see this does have a blind-mount design. So it's gonna install flush, with the mounting hardware remaining hidden inside the locked cap. So you just insert that hardware from behind. It will give you that nice clean look on the outside there. This is made of a die-cast zinc construction.
So it's gonna be extremely durable, built to last, will do a good job for you. It feels very heavy duty in my hand, definitely very solid. You can see it does have a nice black gloss color to it. So it should look really nice on your cap or camper shell. As far as our dimensions go, this is right at 3 1/2 inches in total width.
Our length is roughly four inches. Our shaft is gonna be two inches long and about 5/16 of an inch in diameter. The distance between our mounting holes here is going to be roughly 1 1/2 inches from center to center. We are gonna get two keys included so that we can be sure to lock that up, so no one can come along and open our cap or camper shell. So if you are needing a replacement T-handle lock, this is gonna be a great option for you.

I order this T handle with keys because I needed the
key number K 127 to match the at hand locks on my LEER camper shell. The key kitt and works. I’m grateful the eTrailer phone agent was able to figure out I could get the key by ordering the T handle. Recently sold that camper shell and I wanted to give the buyer a key so they could use the T handle locks. The buyer is thrilled!

Everything looks great. I just received my order on 01/21 but haven't got it installed yet.
A replacement for frozen locks on my snowmobile trailer. But I'm surprised/disappointed that the new locks did not come with the covers.
the handles work great! The only thing that surprised me is that they did not come with insert for the inside of the handle assembly and the flipper bar that slides on the square shaft after the assembly has been installed.I just transferred those parts from the old handles but my cap is very secure!!

Was a snap to install. Perfect fit, and appearance. I would suggest including 2 screws to replace the old screws.

Fantastic handle! Complete upgrade to the stock handle on my camper. The original handle had some play which allowed the handle to unlatch even when locked. This latch solved the problem, even when traveling off road and it looks great!
