What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this Cam from JR Products. This is gonna be a replacement part for maybe a door on your camper or even the T handle here on the back of our camper shell. We can replace that and get it locked up again. Let's check it out. When you use your camper shell a whole bunch or any door that the cam's gonna go onto, it'll eventually wear out.
It's an easy part to replace. Just make sure you measure and get the right one. The one we're working with today is gonna be two and three quarters of an inch, there's also a two inch one that's a little bit shorter. You wanna make sure that this latch is gonna be, the cam is long enough to hit inside the door. That way when you go to turn, it's gonna catch like it's supposed to and keep that door closed.
To start our install, we're gonna put our cam into place. Now I'm looking at the other side already, so I know what placement this needs to be to catch the side of the camper. Then we have the screw that was included with it. We'll tighten that down. You're don't wanna make it super tight, but you do want it to dig in a little bit.
Now let's test the back window. With it installed, if you're only doing one, you're done. If you have to do one on the other side, you'll do that next in the same way. Overall, I like how easy it is to replace that part. I didn't have to buy a whole new setup.
I just replaced the cam, and it works like new again. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. I hope this helped.

The handle I ordered was not correct ! I ordered a 2 3/4 handle and I got a 2 inch handle !!
Used with locking handle to secure temporary windows in my race car. They are long enough to reach the doorframe above the window for a secure engagement.
So much easier to order this part from etrailer then to jump through all the hoops of the topper manufacturer... "find a dealer near me, call the parts department during business hours," etc."

So, it looks to me like you have received 37210925, which is 2 inches, instead of 37210915, that is 2-3/4 inches. I am sorry for the inconvenience; I have sent your information over to customer service and they will be shipping out the correct part soon.
