Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to take a look at this Bauer Products T-Handle Lock for Truck Caps. It's a nice gloss black finish. Now this is a locking T handle. It'll replace one broken or damaged handle on your truck cap or camper shell. And you could see it as a clockwise rotating handle, mounts on the passenger side of your dual lock cap or the center of your single lock cap.Now it is a blind mounted design, so it installs flush with the mounting hardware to remain hidden inside the lock cap.

There's no access to the mounting hardware from the outside. It has a nice die-cast sink construction, which is very durable, built to last. We mentioned it has a nice gloss black color, and the slot can be keyed alike to match other Bauer Products. K series locks. Basically, the way you would do that is if you go to the product page of this part number up at the top right-hand corner, you'll see a dropdown menu that will have the keyed alike in it.

Just click on that. And then right underneath it, you'll see a quantity box. You just enter the number of locks you need.Now it does come with the two K series keys, and again, to open it, you just turn it clockwise, opens it up. Turn it that way and closes. And then if you put your key in there, turn the key 180 degrees, take it out and that'll keep you from opening it.

It's all locked. And then to open it just go ahead and put your key back in, turn it the 180 degrees. And now you can open it up.A few dimensions on this, the overall width of it on the handle. Let's get it the right way here. From one end to the other, it's right at four inches.

The total depth when this is installed, it's going to be right at one and three quarter inches. And the overall heighth, the widest point, is right there, is going to be about one and a quarter inches tall. Now the shaft itself, the length of the shaft is right at about one and three quarter inches. And the distance between the mounting holes center to center is right at one and a half inches.But again, just turn it to open it, turn it back to close it, and then to lock it go ahead and insert your key, turn it the 180 degrees, take your key out, and now it's locked.
