e trailor service was great as usual but this product has a few drawbacks, a very sharp piece of metal sticking out from one of the corners and the lock is very poor for this much money, otherwiss it does serve its purpose. If there is a upgraded lock let me know.
I received my order quickly, well packaged and intact. I was a bit disappointed at the thinness of the aluminum, I expected them to be a bit more robust. I replaced the locks with cylinder key locks, the ones preinstalled weren't much, easily picked. Over all, I am happy with my purchase. They were easy to mount in my truck, the mounting brackets were stronger than I figured they would be.
Just picked it up, everything looks good. Now it gets customized to fit in my Jeep Cherokee XJ,,,,,,,,,,,,, ty
boxes look great! however locks are very poor quality. One of the locks was installed wrong. I removed and reinstalled but now its very difficult to latch- maybe why it was installed wrong in the first place. also rubber o-rings around locks were installed wrong on one of the locks. The o-rings are not the right size or application and boxes leak like crazy around locks. For the price i paid for these boxes DeeZee could put some better locks and o-rings~profit over quality is the motto I guess
I was disappointed in the material thickness. It is much too thin. The lid can be bent up easily for theft of material. Two of the rivets on the lid were not installed correctly.
I would have looked for something more robust if I had known this.
