Received the toolbox on 1/3 along with additional tray. Good service considering the weather around the U S.
I saw in one of the correspondences a request of returning a picture after the toolbox had been mounted.
The box was mounted inbed on a Ford 150 Platinum with an accordion style bed cover fully deployed ( Pic 1 ).
Pic 2 shows there is plenty of room between the top of the lid and the bottom of the bed cover.
Pic 3 shows the bed cover fully stacked with plenty of room to fully open the toolbox lid. Thus the toolbox has
weather protection and additional security by salvaging the bed cover. I looked at other styles but found the molding of the fender welds not conducive for inbed mounting. Although there is space between the sides of the box
and the side beds, it allows me to take advantage of the tie-downs mounted on the side beds. Thanks for the prompt service and staying in touch 114260
Make sure you don't need this box to store anything. I didn't realize the angle on the front of the box was so pronounced, as it eliminates half the floor area. Very disappointed! 3372853

Great tool box, nice amount of storage. Purchased this model so it could be hidden away under my tonneau cover, fits perfectly. Removable tool tray has proven handy for keeping smaller items like ratchet straps and bungees easily accessible and organized. The only thing I didn't like are the little yellow "plugs" inside, when my cover has been up and the bed collects water, they aren't very effective at keeping the water from coming up through the bottom. 430676

The tool box is about average quality in construction for a mid-level tool box. The box arrived later than I expected and although there was no damage to the box that contained the tool box, the tool box itself has several small dents and nicks on the paint. One serious dent on the rear corner threatens the ability to open the top lid all of the way. since there was no damage to shipping box it leaves one to assume that it was damaged before shipping and shipped anyway. There appears to be no quality control on DEE-ZEE's part or if there is then DEE-ZEE has no regard for their customers.Maybe China is too far away to manage QC. Maybe it would have helped if they had used some Bubble wrap or another packing cushion the damage would not have happened. I have pictures but because the box is black the damage does not shown up well.I doubt that I would ever buy another DEE-ZEE product. I am hesitant to purchase anymore products from etrailer because they sold me the DEE-ZEE toolbox. 3422333

TruXedo (Pro X15, Lo Pro, TruXport, Sentry, Deuce), Extang, Gator, and Retrax tonneau covers
I don't believe there's a way to install it with your tonneau but maybe a shorter height chest tool box like the DeeZee # DZ8537 which would attach to the floor of your truck bed would work better. This is shorter in height too so you tonneau would not interfere either. view full answer...

I have a solution for you, but Adarac specifically states that their ladder racks are not compatible with other bed-rail-mounted or stake-pocket-mounted accessories such as tool boxes. So the Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Steel with Aluminum Crossbars # A4004148 would not work with that.
However, since this ladder rack attaches to the top of the bed rail, you could install a tool box that fits inside the bed rails which would not interfere with the Adarac ladder rack. You could... view full answer...
You will want to take some measurements to see if a toolbox will work with your fifth wheel trailer on your 2004 Dodge Ram with the 6 ft bed.

To do a retractable tonneau cover for your 2016 RAM 3500 and use a tool box will require you do go with a box that will fit underneath the tonneau.
The RetraxPRO part # RT80233 would be the cover that would work best for you as it is a fit for your truck and will retract far enough to fit a chest tool box. This has a matte black finish.

I do have cargo management options for you but the TruXedo Truck Luggage Expedition Truck Bed Cargo Management System part # TX1705211 will not fit a 2016 Toyota Tacoma due to both the actual size of the bed in addition to interference with the deck rail system.
