Features to know about

Smooth Ride on Rough Roads: 3-Leaf Slipper Spring Flexes to Absorb Shock

Bumpy roads don’t have to mean a rough trip. This 3-leaf slipper spring flexes under load to absorb road shock and keep the ride steady. Each spring has a 750 lb capacity, giving a combined 1,500 lb rating for a single-axle setup. Its 24-5/8" length and 1-3/4" width match the geometry of light-duty axles so the suspension stays predictable over uneven ground. By letting the axle move independently of the frame, it helps reduce wear and tear while keeping things level and smooth.

Durable Steel Build for Reliable Support: Withstands Daily Use

A strong suspension starts with strong steel. This leaf spring is built from sturdy steel to handle repeated flexing without losing shape. At 1/4" thick per leaf, it resists fatigue and keeps its curve longer than tired factory springs. The radius-end design slides easily into the rear hanger or equalizer, giving a secure mount that holds alignment mile after mile.

Hassle-Free Fit: Sized and Bushed for Standard Hardware

Getting the right fit matters for consistent performance. The front eye comes ready with a nylon bushing sized for a 9/16" bolt, or you can swap in a 1/2" ID bushing if needed. With an eye diameter of 11/16" without the bushing, it pairs cleanly with standard hanger kits and bolts like part #166079. The correct “B” spacing of 22-3/4" puts the slipper end right where it should rest on the rear hanger, making installation simple and alignment accurate.

Keeps Trailers Level and Stable: Designed for Balanced Suspension Geometry

When both sides work in sync, your trailer tracks straight and stays level. Each 3-leaf spring supports equal load on its side, helping the axle sit square and the frame stay balanced. Replacing worn or sagging springs with a matched pair restores correct ride height and geometry so your trailer tows steady with less bounce or sway.

I was assisted by Nick and Katie of etrailer. Both were knowledgeable and helped me spec exactly what I needed. Slip springs and accessories for a trailer that is no longer made. Great attitudes and genuinely friendly to boot. The two of them are exactly what we all hope to get when we need factory help on the phone. This is my third order from etrailer. nuff said!

Replaced rusty springs on a 14' skiff trailer. Fit perfect, DIY for cheap in the driveway, it would've been easier with an impact wrench. Take their advice, etrailer is the best for a reason, get ALL NEW HARDWARE TOO!! I broke several fasteners removing them, if the springs are bad, so is the hardware. I have done three hitches and a set of leaf springs now with these folks. Their install videos and expert advice made it a breeze to save probably a couple thousand in labor at a shop.
by:
Purchased this in pair for my new to me kayak trailer and they are awesome. The ones that came with my trailer were rusted bad and two leafs only. These are three leafs giving it more load capacity and way cheaper then any of my local big box stores and trailer parts store here in Miami FL. If you need a pair for your trailer do not hesitate and contact etrailer their awesome website and outstanding customer service will get you what you need trust me this is my second time purchasing with them and they have earn my two small trailer business. Oh and if you are not sure about what you need just contact them. Mr. Jameson C helped me, he send me all the details and links of what I needed with details that's CUSTOMER SERVICE thank you guys God bless....

I have an old 1993 NUWAY 13848 utility trailer and on a cross country trip, my leaf spring broke after hitting a pot hole. I was lucky to make it home safely. E-trailer had replacement spring in various load ratings. My original trailer was a 2 leaf spring rated for 500 lbs (1000 for trailer). E-trailer has springs that were 3 leaf rated for 750 lbs (1500 for trailer). The price was great and the delivery was super fast. Springs wear out from a lot of use and it is best to replace them especially after hitting pot holes for 25 years and 20,000 miles with trailer loaded at 60 to 90% capacity. An old spring may look good but has a limited life with years of use. Oh yes, I replaced both sides and the nuts on the U bolts are fully engaged and torqued. Replacement parts all fit perfectly. I am glad "etrailer" carries everything you need at a super great price.
by:
I have to service was impeccable.
They shipped springs to me quicker than anticipated even though I had one spring off trailer. As soon as UPS dropped of package I went at installing them.
I had no problems and fit perfect.
by:
While I haven't tried it yet (naturally I require additional parts, not etrailers fault, I broke a couple of bolts.) The springs arrived faster than promised and fit perfectly.
by:

Price competitive. Using eTrailer parts in my products, specially designed trailers for power sports vehicles. Check out [site], a better way to move your toys without it taking over your garage.
Trailers are just coming to market this spring in power sports dealers in the Midwest.

Ordered early Friday morning before business hours. Parts arrived the following Wensday afternoon via UPS.

The only concern I had with the two springs I ordered was the cheap nylon bushing they came with. I would have preferred neoprene but the springs were stamped made in China so......

Springs and hanger kit I ordered went together and look good.
by:
Replaced these on my old boat trailer along with hangers, shackles, fender brackets and fenders. Good product.

Still working great.

by:
The leaf springs arrived quickly and in good condition. They installed easily on a 17' long boat trailer and I think they will work well on the road. The boat and trailer are in storage for the off season now but I expect that the weight of a 13' Boston Whaler, 25 hp Suzuki four stroke, and boat gear will be a reasonable load for the leaf springs to perform properly. My only concern is corrosion resistance. There was some evidence of surface rust coming through the paint on the springs in some places. I'm hopeful they don't rust out too quickly.

Ordered and received two leaf springs for a small trailer. The delivery was fast and the fit was perfect. Great store.

The springs were a perfect fit and good quality. Very easy process to purchase and install

by:
My jetski trailers springs rusted away after ten years of salt water use, so I needed replacement springs. Etrailer provided me with a $17 solution, which I installed in about 15 minutes (for both sides). They have been on my trailer for a year, and still look great.

by:
These springs were on sale and a great price. They replaced old springs on my jet ski trailer. These matched perfectly and installed fine. Good quality, and have been on trailer about a year now and are still in great condition. I did repaint them for a little more protection, but that is up to you as they are pre-painted. Just make sure you get your measurements and weight requirements right when you order to be sure yours fit correctly.

Great product, fast delivery, easy web site to navigate,
by:
I actually wasn’t able to find an exact replacement for my pwc trailer anywhere. But the customer support guy I spoke with at etrailer took the time to describe their axle and I was able to slightly modify it to fit my frame. Good product good price. I’d buy from them again.
by:
These were exactly what I needed and were cheaper than from other sites. Additionally, the customer service from etrailer is top-notch. I have purchased many items from them and I am a lifetime customer because of the customer service and the quality/assortment of the products they offer. They are a great group of people to buy from. The delivered leaf springs were exactly as advertised and fit perfect.
by:
New springs work like a charm and look much better than the older ones!
by:
Leaf springs are fine except for their ride a bit too high for pontoon boats if you have a lowering kit I would like to know thank you
by:
The springs were just as described in the item description, very satisfied with the whole experience. Shipped super fast and Great customer service, nice springs perfect fit :-)
by:
These springs will work perfectly for the aluminum trailer I am building for my inflatable boat. They are good quality and the shipping was very fast.

The 3-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Radius End for 1,500-lb Trailer Axles - 24-5/8" Long # SP-178275 may be a fit however you will need to confirm the axle capacity first. Your existing leaf springs are going to be longer due to stretching over time. This leaf spring has a 22-3/4" eye to slipper rest measurement compared to your 23" and overall length is 24-5/8" compared to your 26". If you can let me know your axle capacity, I would be happy to confirm or recommend another option if necessary....

  • Can 750 lb Trailer With 3,500 lb Axle Use Lower Rated Leaf Springs
Yes, you can use a lower-rated leaf spring for your 750 lb trailer, though the capacity of your trailer is going to be that of its lowest-rated component. I assume your trailer is 750 lbs unloaded, so if you were to change to a 1,500 lb rated leaf spring, for example, then your trailer would only be able to have a fully loaded weight of 1,500 lbs. In regards to the correct replacements, that is going to depend on whether or not you have double-eye springs or slipper springs and a couple...

We unfortunately do not have exactly the spring you are looking for. What I recommend is getting the 3-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Radius End for 1,500-lb Trailer Axles - 24-5/8" Long # SP-178275 and moving your rear hanger forward because you will be within 1/4 inch of where your axle would have been with this spring. Then you will be able to replace springs as needed and still support your sailboat properly for transport. If you want a bolt on slipper spring hanger for the rear, I recommend...

What happens to slipper springs is that over time they elongate and flatten out, particularly if your springs are considerably older. The most important measurement you mentioned was the 26 inches from the center of the spring eye to the end of the spring. Based on that the closest slipper spring we have that could work is the 3-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Radius End for 1,500-lb Trailer Axles - 24-5/8" Long # SP-178275, which would work if you had a tandem-axle trailer. • Determining Correct Replacement Slipper Spring For Dual Jet Ski Trailer
I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement slipper leaf springs for your dual jet ski trailer, but you will need to identify the axle rating of your axle and the width of your slipper spring. To find the axle rating you will want to check the axle tag located on the center of the axle, as it will have the axle rating listed. • Is There Difference in Quality Between 1,500 lb 3-Leaf Slipper Spring e99SR & SP-178275
There really is not any type of quality difference between the two slipper springs: - 3-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Radius End for 1,500-lb Trailer Axles - 24-5/8" Long # e99SR & # SP-178275 They both have the same measurements, steel construction, and nylon bushing in the spring eye. I'd honestly go with the least expensive option to save yourself some money. Also, I do recommend new bolts when mounting springs, the Spring-Eye Bolt with Locknut for Slipper Springs - 3-1/2" Long # 166079.

The GVWR is the gross vehicle weight rating which is the most that the trailer can weight when loaded and ready to tow. Since that figure is 1,560 pounds it is likely that the axle on the trailer is a 2,000 pound axle. That would mean you need to look at leaf springs rated for 1,000 pounds each.
